You get what you pay for

Given the price, I was prepared for what I got. If you stay there, insist on a room AWAY from the highway, or be prepared to sleep with earplugs.
General room condition was not good. Paint peeling, carpet stains, bathroom rundown, etc.
Also, non smoking room absolutely reeked of cigarette smell.
I would never take my wife here, but for a cheap night while travelling, I made do.
One bright spot was the breakfast. There was waffles, cooked oatmeal, cereal, coffee, juice and toast. Much more than I expected.
Lastly, while housekeeping removed the trash during day 2 and picked up the wet towels, they left no fresh ones and didn't make up the beds. I complained but housekeeping had gone for the day. The owner delivered fresh towels shortly after.
While checking out, another customer was having a serious discussion with the manager about getting his room changed. That didn't seem to be going well either.
For $30/night, I made do. However, they could do better with just a bit of effort.
