Smelly room

When we opened the door of room 168, there was a strong smell of stale tobacco smoke. The smell stayed even when we bought deodorizer. While taking a shower at 5pm the hot water completely stopped. Also, there were roaches and a cricket in the bathroom. The hotel staff were very pleasant. When we checked out the desk clerk asked about our stay. When I told her of the problems, she reimbursed us $34, which was nice. However, I would have preferred a non smelly room with plenty of hot water and no roaches or crickets. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was ok carpet was stains . Beds ok . Bathroom need to be updated

Older property, but it was cheap and no issues bringing pets.

Easy and Cheap

My room was nice and clean and it was quiet at night. I only needed a place to stay for a night and I was more than happy with what I got. The wifi could be better but I managed with it. Other than that, it was a good solid experience

Did not feel safe

There were a lot of people hanging out, very noisy. I had a not so sober person bang on my door looking for someone else. Would definitely not stay here if you're single or elderly. Worried about my car all night.

The freezer in the fridge was all frosted too thick to put anything in it. Staff very friendly

LA Quinta Lafayette **Concert Stay**

Great for an inexpensive overnight while attending a concert. Staff was wonderful. Room was clean and grounds well maintained. Always try to stay at a LA Quinta because they are pet friendly :)
