This was my second stay at T'Frere's. The location is great. Also, I love staying in historical inns, so this was a good choice for us.
My sister got the queen bed and said it was sooo comfortable. My twin wasn't that great, but OK.
The staff are super friendly and helpful and even speak French.
My only complaint would be that they indicate that breakfast is served "from 8:30-9:30AM". However, on both days, breakfast wasn't begun until closer to 9:00AM. Because we had plans for both days and needed to get on the road, I think starting breakfast on time, if the guest is seated, would be more respectful. In that way, we could enjoy the breakfast and not have to rush to get to our plans. In fact, we were 30 minutes late meeting an elderly relative. This could have been avoided by serving breakfast on time. I would like breakfast starting even earlier. Also, in our room on the first floor, the road noise was significant which could affect some light-sleepers.
