"We stayed here to visit the Christmas markets in Gamla Stan and it was great! Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage. We took a taxi out which was a bit easier. We’d stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gamla Stan. Go to House of Smörgåsbord for dinner just up the road. It’s the best local food we had in Sweden! "

"Hotel is very convenient for all the Djurgarden attractions. Tram stop and ferry nearby to reach other parts of the city. Staff were all lovely. Rooms were good size, modern and clean. Breakfast buffet had a great selection and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Absolutely loved our stay here and would certainly book again next time we visit Stockholm "

"Beautiful hotel in general, and the rooms felt very luxurious and had a lot of character. Lots of counter space in the bathroom with large well-lit mirrors, very comfortable bedding with down duvets/ pillows, and a lot of natural light (plus a great view). Staff was incredibly nice, and the breakfast was divine - from the presentation of the food to the quality of the food. Certainly the best croissants I have tasted. Location is prime, and a very busy but picturesque part of town. "

"After staying in quite a lot of scandanavian hotels with their laid back/self sufficient approach, it was lovely to stay in a full service truly 5 star hotel again. I had a deluxe room facing side street, the bathroom was gorgeously spacious with very large bath separate to shower. I paid to use the spa 750SEK for hotel guests . It had a lot of different experiences and was a lovely way to unwind. Dinner at matbaren which I managed to book only a few days in advance, food was lovely. Service everywhere was fantastic. I' d choose to stay there again."
