Check in was a nightmare! I booked through Expedia and the hotel staff said they always have trouble with reservations from Expedia. I had to sit and wait for an hour to be checked into a hotel that I prepaid for. This created a bad customer experience. There is a club next to the property that is extremely loud at night.

Stay at the Blowfish
Hotel is very lovely, good food, friendly staff, beautiful and safe location. I can't find a single fault. I highly recommend the Blowfish when staying in Lagos.

They operate their own generator. So, if public power is cut the generator kicks in. A/C is working great restaurants and bar are good.

Wonderful hotel
Every time i’m in Lagos I stay at the Blowfish. It is the very best ti me. The room is beautiful and the mood is exciting. I will stay here every time I go.

It’s
The normal standard room for which they over charge are not good to stay. There is lot of noise and disturbance that gets into the room from restaurants below and kids play area. The hotel management did understand the complaint and I was moved to other room which had little to noise from outside. Thanks to them for that. The staff is also attentive and attends quickly to any requests made but overall tot seems overly charged as the property is bit congested. They have nice restaurants with good vibes.

A lot of construction and banging throughout the day. However there is no notification. Requested a new room as the closet door fell off and bathroom was disgusting. Staff were very accommodating. Not all rooms are updated. Owners appear to always be watching, but not friendly at all. Told by staff whom they were. They are also quite rude to staff, which was hard to watch.

Amazing hotel
I have stayed at the blowfish hotel several times. It’s amazing. The rooms were very nice. The poolside entertainment is wonderful. I won’t stay anywhere else when i’m in lagos

The only good thing about this hotel was the pool (it was beautiful) and the selected dj. Outside of that THIS PLACE IS TRASH! The room was way below standard. I only got 3 channels on my tv the entire time I was there. I was served old food which made me sick. I was to at the least be refunded for the cost of that poison, but I have yet to see any refund. I spoke to two different managers on different occasions and still nothing was done. Even after returning home I still can't hear anything or see any refund. The Blowfish certainly BLOWS! The room was bad, everything was extremely over priced, there were certainly no Covid practices in place, the food was awful, and the cleaning staff steals things from your room if you're not there to watch them (we caught the guy redhanded). Do yourself a favor and AVOID THE BLOWFISH!!!!!

They should be embarrassed if I am honest. If the standard of rooms I stayed in were a reflection of the entire hotel then this is a mess. DO BETTER!

Whew where do I start??? The room was in shambles, I had to switch and the 2nd room wasn't much better. Barely any functional lights, freezing cold water, broken shower head, water damage you name it. Don't get me started on the renovation noises going on from 2pm when i checked in to 10am when they eventually agreed to change my room! I had to go to the front desk multiple times, even at 4am because I couldn't get any sleep! Complete waste of my money. You couldn't pay me to stay here ever again.

I stayed here for my first visit to Nigeria. Was very pleased. The bed was comfortable. The rom was clean. The pool and entertainment was excellent. I will definitely stay again next time I come.

Blowfish - a blow to my expectations
First night was horrendous. My room was right above a party that went on till 12:30am. The room itself had a badly stained bath tub. I requested for a room change which was effected the next day. The new room was better but the music from the pool club downstairs was still a disturbance. There were old water marks on the shower unit and shower walls that you could tell had not been cleaned for ages (probably not even occurred to anyone that they were supposed to be cleaned). The shower unit was rusty and rickety, I was hesitant to use it but with no choice, I had to. The gap under the room door was so big I had to stuff a towel down there to prevent creepy crawlies from entering the room, especially at night. I found a bedbug on the bed which made me an insomniac for the remaining 2 nights of my stay. I couldn’t draw the curtains open during the daytime because the windows were badly stained with dirt, horrible to look at. The magazine placed in the room was dated November 2019. Why even bother having it there? The telephone in the room did not work. I couldn’t call housekeeping or reception when I needed assistance. I looked forward to working out in the gym but it was just some dusty equipment in a corridor, no Health & Safety considerations, definitely not fit for purpose. The staff were good. Everyone I encountered were helpful with a pleasant attitude. But the condition of the rooms leave a lot to be desired. PLENTY of room for improvement!

Good and neat hotel, and very accessible to the business district. The two front desk ladies were sour and unfriendly. Porter and security were great. For 7k naira a plate, the caesar salad needs to be much better. Every thing else was fine.

It was the first days very noisy. grinding metal frames under my window. the work was not to be done in front of hotel with gaust but this was work what need to bedone in a workshop. (Welding and grinding). Asked the first day to change to other room if avilble but erceiption person never reply back to me. and did not even make note for collage. Receiption is not on a client friendly services. PLACE like pool and pool side are realy inproving. At bar out side on top of the upper resturant you have nice vieuwe over the pool side. Nice to have a drink with bar men william cool person. Its a pitty of the lake of reply from receiption. that did not improve my stay during the 5 days stay. O check AC air filters they was complte blocked i clean my self. BUt i will go back next time i come in this hotel more then 10 years because rooms are nice. alsmost forget. credite card payment is at the last day always problems !!!

Okay hotel for an okay price in a nice area. Some overlooked details like no shower curtain so the bathroom easily flooded and spilled over into the room. There was construction happening so the pool was completely drained which we were informed of after booking the hotel. The “La Veranda” rooftop bar is a nice place to relax in the evening. The hotel arranged transportation for us to the airport which was reliable and convenient.

Please don't call it 4 Star property! Staff needs training, without checking the system they argue....Pool is under renovation. Internet is poor. TV is having very limited channels. Breakfast is ok.

Very disapointing. The pool was shut and some fairly noisy renovations are ongoing. No warning about this until check in. The whole place has gone down hill since i stayed last year. It took mulftiple attempts to get a second set of towels, a cup, coffee etfc. Also, who stocks a room with a cup, a sachett of coffee and no kettle? My favourite inconvenience was the late night telephone "one ringers", fun at 3am... Trying to order food from one of the groups restaraunts was intresting. Turned out to be shut for renovation so recepttion confirming we had the correct number to use without informing us of that really added to the impression that either nobody cares or is properly trained. This is a great hotel being let down by greedy owners who want to keep it open as a building site.

In overall it was a good deal in terms of prices, the personal is very nice, and the food and service is excellent. some room are ok but the first one we had was not clean enough, the wall and the carpet was very dirty, but they swapped for a better room I appreciated. ( this hotel need to be refresh as in the room wall and some équipement are nit good ) A lot of restaurant, shop around very good position. But my big disappointment was the swimming pool, I took an hotel just because I would like to enjoy the pool but after few day it was in maintenance for the rest of my holidays... i will appreciated to the hotel to let Us know about it in advance....

The hotel is located in a good area. I had issues with water leaking in my room the entire stay and the tap water being a yellowish color. The room was comfortable, the hotel staff friendly, a selection of restaurants to choose from. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return.
