Wasn't worth the moneyPosted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Old fashioned charm
Cons: Wifi. Give some honest information about the parking situation and options
Location: Golf, Cliffs of Moher
Hotel was noisy, had a terrible nights sleep with drunks talking in the hallway at 3 am and doors slamming. The wifi in the room didn't work. The 'on site parking' consisted of 6 spaces out the back which were permanently occupied (by the staff I would guess). The breakfast was fine, staff were friendly enough.

Cons: It was almost impossible to find a good balance between scalding hot and ice cold water for the shower. Other than that, everything was great.
Most comfortable bed on our entire ten-day trip. Great breakfast. Great location. Easy to check in and check out.

No air conditioning requiring window left open allowing street noise and neighboring hotel noise Pillows were less than satisfactory Pub town so too much after hours coming and going with slamming of doors and noise above Suggest asking for top floor room Very pleasant staff however

Good staff and food but small bedPosted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels
Breakfast was excellent but our room was very small and basic for the price we paid. The bed was also a very small double bed for 2 people. However the staff service was very good and friendly.

The hotel was nice, holiday hotel with a good breakfast. The internet didn't work in the room but did work in the common areas

The room was warm and comfortable with a nice view, right in the city centre, close to the sea, lovely personnel and delicious breakfast.

Central; Clean but old fashionedPosted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels
Staff very friendly and helpful. It turned out the booking was for the hotel next door. This should be clear when booking. Not a big deal but prefer to know when reviewing facilities prior to booking. Breakfast ended at 10am on Sunday morning. There was no hope of making that. The room was very old fashioned but to be fair was very clean. The car parks on both hotels were full when I checked in so had to park in the public park across the road and pay the exit fee. Only 3euro so not a big deal. A fridge in the room would be nice. Good flat screen tv though. We were there for a short stay. I felt it was a little expensive for the room but balance that with central location and that it was a long weekend the price was fair. I wouldn't want to stay there more than a few days as the "oldness" would probably wear thin.

Great service/staff, shame about the bathroomPosted Jun 5, 2013 on Hotels
Was on a short break to meet up with friends so I booked his hotel. It wasn't the cheapest but the most convenient in terms of a 2min walking distance to everything. The hotel itself was fine, the eating areas, bar and even the room itself but the bathroom of the room was in a poor condition. If it just had the cost of my 2 nights stay invested back into it that would easily fix it up.
