Not upto the standards of four star hotel. Fittings in the bathroom were very old , shower was not working , hot water was not coming very slowly… carpet is outdated. Electrical fittings were old , no socket for USB …

Location and surroundings are stunning. Hotel clean and buffet breakfast was fantastic. Building and rooms/decor are showing their age . Peeling paint, worn carpets and half the hotel has been closed off/abandoned meaning no spa facilities.

The staff, location, and included breakfast were great. The only drawback was that it was really hot and the room didn't have AC or a fan. I would suggest each room get a fan in the summer.

On a hill above the city with great views and only 14 minutes to central area. Seemed to cater to German tourists vs international. Nice beer garden and Greek restaurant very close by so you can take a respite from the hubbub below.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und hier und da müsste mal was renoviert werden. Mein Zimmer war sehr eng und trotz Doppelbett eigentlich nicht als Doppelzimmer nutzbar. Das Frühstück war super. Die Sauna konnte kostenlos genutzt werden.

The property where is located it’s very nice and quite. I don’t like the room we’re we stay in. Need to renovate or make changes like the floor, carpet was dirty. The patio has crack on the wall and mold not safe for breathing. The bathroom tub too slippery not safe at all same the floor tile in the bathroom. Overall need serious renovation .😏

Cold war era hotel on an isolated hilltop 20 minutes drive from Koblenz. Not much to do in the area except for nature walks. Rooftop Restaurant and bar closed, the other restaurant kitchen was not manned fully and couldn't provide full menu. The hotel is overly ready for demolition or a full refurbishment.

Value for money with cleaning standards terrible
Negative out of the way first, room was shockingly dirty hair still left in the bath, dirty stains all over and dust everywhere very unGerman like cleaning. Very disappointing they need to sort the cleaning standards out we arrived at 1 pm told the receptionist about the state of the room when we arrived back at 5 p.m. room had not been touched or cleaned. I was offered another room but by this time everybody was tired and didn't want to move building itself is a monstrosity in a very pretty area so I don't know how they ever got permission to build such a monstrosity of a building but that doesn't affect anything on to Positives its value for money, relatively big family room, quite comfortable, excellent breakfast good quality. Free parking, quiet location. If they can get the cleaning sorted they will get better feedback!

I get that Germans are not known for having A/C but the hotel should provide a fan during summer months. Had to drive to the store to buy one. Also, what kind of hotel does not have a freaking fridge. If you need anything stored, you have to bring it to the front desk. Not the best of hotels, in fact probably the most inconvenient place I have stayed in years. At the least the breakfast and parking was free.. ha ha I attached a photo of the dust built up on the electrical, fire hazard!

Once this was the flagship property of Dorint Hotels and Resorts. Sadly those times are over. At that time the hotel was famous for its beautiful SPA. Today it is still a really nice Hotel. You might recognise that the building has seen better times, but as a local I still feel the spirit of the old times. The rooms are nice and all have a big balcony. When you are lucky you get a room at one of the top levels. In the morning you have a stunning view (Marksburg, Rhine valley, ...)

Quiet hotel away from the city
Very helpful staff, great buffet breakfast, peaceful surroundings, free parking. Range of room standards to choose from and some need a refurb. The non-smoking policy doesn't really work as it is supposed to be 'balconies only'. Good bus service into Koblenz or a ten minute car ride. Hotel swimming pool has long since closed but there's a great open air one just down the road. Nice peaceful park and forest areas surround the hotel, great for bikers and walkers. Fantastic views from the higher floors and my choice every time especially with a good deal.

The breakfast is really tasty at this hotel. Also, the surrounding area is beautiful. We really enjoyed that all the hotel rooms had a balcony. Also, the staff were friendly. However, the hotel is quite dated and the rooms were what I imagined a hotel room would look like in the late 80s early 90s. Also, a wing of the hotel appeared to be shutdown and looked rather dilapidated. However, overall, it's a nice hotel.

We were traveling to Koblenz and we’re glad that there’s a Wyndham hotel nearby, it’s a scenic drive to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good restaurant, and hearty breakfast in the morning. Would love to stay here again!

A few notes...
The hotel was comfortable but very outdated. The view was amazing but the room was pretty dusty. It also smelled very strongly of cigarettes. Great bed & pillow. Good value for the price.

OK hotel with great view of the valley
Hotel was clearly nice when built, but management is falling behind on maintenance. Breakfast was good, but the potatoes were clearly from the previous day (half empty tray/not entirely warm right after they opened). Asked for wake up call final three nights of my stay as my cell phone was broken, but was only called once of the three nights. View from balcony was stellar, but the walls outside were cracking and covered in spider ends, so I didn't stay out for very long. Overall an OK hotel, won't be back if I can avoid it

Not worth the Price!!
My experience here unfortunately was not very pleasant! While the hotel lobby looks very modern the rooms need updating. They are old fashioned and are in need of a much needed facelift. I might have just gotten the worst room in the hotel. However I was on the second floor with the hotel lobby roof at my window. The roof had cigarette butts all over and clothing strewn out on it. I therefore did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open with the roof level to the window which made the room with no AC incredibly hot. The bathroom drain also did not work and within a few minutes the tub was full of water which is not very pleasant while trying to take a shower. I tried talking to the hotel staff the next morning (I am fluent in German by the way) and they could not have been more unfriendly and rude. This hotel looks to be a stop for tours as there were many buses loading and unloading in the morning. For the amount of money I paid this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in!!

The hotel might consider renaming this hotel the Wyndham Mini. The room was mini, the service was mini, staff training was mini, the hotel food was mini with respect to quality, on the plus side, the hotel location rated maxi insofar as the distance from town we wished to visit, and also with respect to the cobwebs on the balcony, speaking of which was both maxi and mini. Mini was the view you had when seated on the balcony, maxi was the deterioring roof-tops of the out-lying buildings when standing on the balcony. And for those gentle, forgivable souls who might assume that the writer may be embellishing the term 'mini' with respect to the room, there is inadequate space to walk between the foot of the bed and the wall.
