Beautiful quaint place. Real Japanese traditional hotel.
This is an older style hotel - refined and quiet, with I suspect a history of guests returning annually. It is magnificently situated on the lake allowing quiet reflection. Coordinating travel to Odwarra and using the 2xdaily hotel shuttle would make this venue very accessible. Golfers would enjoy ...
We had a fantastic time at the Hotel de Yama. The staff was friendly and attentive, the location is magnificent, and there was a view of Fuji from the room. We wished we had stayed longer.
Cozy room with nice decor and nice amenities given but the only drawback is there is no lift in the hotel
Nice little get-away from all the hotels in Hakone. Owner and his wife runs this place. Not that crowded and offers warm-spring bath. Only downside is it's a bit away from everything, though the owner will pick you up from the Oshita bus stop.
The kaiseki meal, onsen and yukata robes were great!
Simply amazing. The entire hotel was extremely clean and the staffs are all extremely nice and professional. Make sure you always book the option that includes dinner and breakfast, because there aren't any restaurant around and the dinner and breakfast buffets are the best buffets I've ever had ...
The property was very clean and the staff were a great help for a person that only speaks English
Lake Ashi is an area in Hakone, Japan. It lies approximately 2 miles southwest from the center of Hakone.
One of Hakone's most visited visitor attractions is Mount Fuji.
The religious and spiritual beliefs of a community are often what make up the foundation of a culture. Be sure to visit Hakone Shrine and discover what the people here value most. If you're hoping to bunk down close by, two of the best hotels are the Hakone Yunohana Prince Hotel and Ryuguden. If you're curious to find out about the history of the area, make sure you check out Buddhist Stoneworks at Motohakone, a well-known local monument. You’ll also find decent hotels within close reach of this attraction, such as the Mikawaya Ryokan and Hakone Hotel Kowakien.
Seeing the sights is great but we all know it can be exhausting. Sit down and enjoy a bite to eat at Mugiwaraya, one of the best eateries in Lake Ashi. The appetizing meal options at レストランななかまど are sure to satisfy hungrier sightseers who want a sit-down meal. The fun doesn't have to end there. When the sun starts to go down, raise your glass to a marvelous day out at ラウンジやまぼうし.
