We stayed here for hour nights and we loved every moment. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and we had a balcony with a spectacular view. I cannot imagine anything else that could have been added to the buffet breakfast. Definitely something for everyone. The dinner was also a buffet and was not quite as nice although there were several choices available. Just not as outstanding. However it was our choice to eat there instead of tracking into the beautiful town. My biggest tip is to have a car. Taxis are not cheap. Otherwise an amazing stay. 😍

Great location. It’s a short drive to Lake Bled and about half an hour to Ljubljana. It’s an old hotel that’s had a renovation but don’t expect fancy chrome and glass. It’s wooden and a bit old fashioned but I’d say it’s in keeping with the rural location.

Well maintained and very friendly front desk. Location is close to nature but not within walking distance to Lake Bled or Bled Castle, it takes about €11 each way for taxi. More frequent hotel shuttle service to Lake Bled would be great.

Grounds and setting are lovely. Breakfast is very filling and imaginative. Room is a bit spartan and shower doors are very funky. Library and main rooms are very appealing and comfortable.

Beautiful Hidden Chateau
Originally we booked a place that said it was 12 miles from Lake Bled...then realized that was as the crow flies and it would take almost an hour to drive there! So we quickly jumped on the phone app and booked Hotel Ribno. We drove through town and followed the directions and signs, driving down this little road looking for it. we thought maybe we had passed it because we were almost to the end, then we came around a curve and there it was! Breathtakingly beautiful!! The pictures don't do it justice! It is such a beautiful and idyllic spot, so peaceful and surrounded by trees and nature. The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. The rooms was a little dated, it didn't have the same attention to detail as the outside and lobby/restaurant, but it was clean and nice. The restaurant was very nice and has a huge deck where you feel like you are dining in a beautiful forest. I would go back in a heartbeat! Love it!

Great view don't expect much from the room
Very nice area. The room of the hotel was very backdated. 15 years ago the room could be considered as a well refined and updated. Nice breakfast.

Full service hotel with friendly staff
Full service hotel. Outside central Lake Bled but very easy access. Complete breakfast and paid for dinner buffet. Pleasant and helpful staff. Modern, comfortable, quiet room with great beds. About 2km from Lake Bled. Hotel offers a shuttle service. Lobby and dining area very attractive. Some rooms like ours have a huge patio overlooking river.

Faded glory
Very disappointing. I was told it was within easy walking distance of lake Bled which was not the case. The hotel was old fashioned and faded. The first room we were given smelled of tobacco smoke. The bathroom was not up to normal standards of cleanliness and tiles in the shower were cracked. Breakfast was ok but dinner (buffet) included in half board price was truly dreadful. A big mistake to book this place.

Great Stay
This was a last minute booking and the staff upgraded our room because of availability. The breakfast was great with a large variety. The 5 minute drive to Lake Bled was convenient. They serve a buffet dinner with meats, chicken and fish, as well as salads, vegetables, potatoes and desserts - all at a very affordable price. Just a pleasant place to stay.

Incredible hotel near the Lake
Great quiet location (10' drive to the lake). Very friendly staff who speak communicable English. Excellent breakfast included. Very inexpensive buffet dinner is surprisingly high quality. The room is very neat and sufficient. Highly recommended.

Convenient for bled area
The location of the hotel is comfortable for traveling around bleds lake day trips We took half board , food wasn't so good at first days the last two days was better The hotel is in the middle of a forest which is great ! Check in was ok but the only two very helpful and smiling were Yuri at the desk extremely helpful and the blond lady in the restaurant was great service and always smiling Room size is great and very comfortable , the inside of the hotel and room is somewhat oldish and needs a renewal

Possibly the Best Desk Clerk in the World?
The Hotel is in Ribno a little outside Bled, making it a bit more economical for the inconvenience of a short drive. The rooms are a nice size, though it's a slightly older property. The breakfast is excellent with lots of options. However the best thing about this hotel is the level of customer care. Yure (or Yuri) was on reception when i checked in and after the formalities, he spent a good 10 minutes with a map showing me where all the good stuff including the hiking trails were. What particularly impressed me was that he started anticipating what I'd be interested in...and got it absolutely right. And he did all this with enthusiasm- seemed he was genuinely proud of his area, not just doing it as a job!

Very nice and clean hotel, well located
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they gave us great tips on how to spend our time. The room was really spacious and clean. The food was ok. We also enjoyed the spa - finish and infra sauna + Jacuzzi. I would definitely recommend it to my friends as it was a great value for the money paid.

location a problem for publictransport dep visitor
The hotel is not suited for the public transport dependent visitor whose main aim is to visit Bled and its immediate environment , but is perfect for the tired motorist who wants one or two days of solitude ! It would be better still if the TV was up to standard and the restaurant fully operational The hotel lent me a bicycle for my visit to Bled lake and a friendly hotel employee drove me to the railway station ( apparently the hotel would have fetched me from the bus station if only I knew about that service because this would have saved me walking all the way with my sore left knee ! -- they should probably mention that in their booking confirmation letter .

Great Hotel
I really enjoyed this hotel, the location was brilliant right on the lake, close to the castle and city centre. The breakfast was very nicely done and a great spot to eat overlooking the lake.

This place is clean, clean, clean Great hospitality, everone spoke English. The food was very good and they had one of the best prices in town. Beautiful views, play ground for children The Bar was beutifull, I strongly recomend this hotel.

A plesant hotel but located just outside Bled.
The hotel itself was lovely, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Good ammenieties available including bike hire, tennis courts and sauna. It's located outside the main area of lake Bled, which we found inconvienient for evening meals and drinks as on booking we were under the impression it was near lake and the bars and restaurants. There was one local restaurant. Nice breakfast and comfortable rooms (a little dated but well kept) although no air conditioning.

Komfortables Hotel in absolut ruhiger Lage und einer grandiosen Umgebung! Bei den hinteren Räumen kommt zu den Mahlzeiten Essengeruch ins Zimmer - das ist aber - bei allen anderen Vorzügen - eine Petitesse.
