It did what it did for the time neededPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: I liked that it had be renovated
Cons: friendlier staff, more attention to guest
Location: nothing really to eat nearby. walmart was pretty close
Customer Service could have been better, not really greeted with a smile or even energy. Room was clean however we booked for 3 people and the room was prepared for only two (no extra towels, toiletries, etc.) Was told that we could not have a late check out because our room was reserved already, however when we left all the rooms were empty and there was no one waiting. Will i get a room there again, I don't see why not it was a clean place to rest. Except for the brown stain on the bathroom wall that I have been telling myself was not what i think it is!

Good locationPosted Aug 3, 2015
The hotel could use some renovation but overall it was a pleasant experience. Took our grandson for a swim and enjoyed the pool. Continental breakfast was very good and had plenty of choices. Biggest negative issue was due to an error in the initial reservation date. It was corrected by Expedia but the hotel booked it like it was another reservation. So we were charged double for one room. Staff was not understanding and refused to refund. Would not stay at this hotel again.

HORRIDPosted Jul 24, 2015
Extremely filthy and that is putting it lightly. There was only hot water in the sink. There was a water leak, our room smelled of urine, The curtains are broke, the coffee maker is broken, The elevator is about to break and 75% of the staff are rude.

Filthy Rooms ~Don't Be Fooled By The OutsidePosted Jul 17, 2015
Cons: Needed to be completely gutted & remodeled
Location: In the bad part of town (downtown) where nothing much goes on.
Checked into hotel at 11:30pm. The outside looked very nice & the lobby looked the same since the hotel was built in 1998? Not bad, but was surprised it had not been remodeled in 15 yrs. The elevator looked banged up with the faux green plastic marble chipped & pealing and when we stepped out into the hall on the 4th floor, I knew we were in trouble. The hall, baseboards, walls were all obviously banged up dingy & dirty. Upon entering the room our eyes got big & our mouths dropped open. Without putting our luggage down we just kept turning in a circle in awe of how banged up & filthy the room was. The bed had an old thing quilted floral spread, the carpet had cig burns, oil or grease stains & was ripped in some places, the walls were in serious need of painting & there was black fuzz on the ceiling & top of ceiling fan. We left immediately. The clerk said he had never seen any of the rooms & admitted that this was the type of hotel where people get kicked out for smoking crack. Also we found out it's a long term place where oil field workers stay. It was just horrible. We had prepaid for 3 nights but were refused a refund. At this point that was not my main concern as it was almost midnight & I would not have stayed in one of these filthy, gross, dingy rooms for free. I called my credit company the next day to dispute the charge. The clerk wouldn't give us a referral at first but then relented & recommended the Holiday Inn on Lake St that was very nice.

Ok for a night or if you just want save moneyPosted Jun 7, 2015
The room was easy access to casinos, the AC was cold and the bed was average at best. The hotel is in walking distance from the Vietnam memorial and a beach area of the lake. The room was old and out dated. The bathroom was not the cleanest and the shower head was either broken or needed cleaning because the water sprayed in 180 degrees covering the bathroom floor with water. Like I said if you are just passing through and need a place to sleep for a couple of hours it's ok or you are trying to save money then it's ok.
