The property was neat and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. The room was decorated in a contemporary manner which was refreshing and contained all of the amenities you would expect as a traveler. The only thing I didn't like was the spotlights over each bed and the too bright nightlight that was on all the time. It would have helped for management to have a notification about unplugging the coffee maker to which the nightlight was attached and that there are switches on the wall that turn the over-the-bed spotlights off/on as, in all of my traveling, I've never encountered either one of these things.

It was a great place to stay 2 nights. They didn't offer any gluten free options for breakfast and the ice machine was broken. There was never anyone at the front desk to ask questions to. You had to ring the bell and wait until someone showed up.

We drove over 10 hours and once we got to the hotel we found it to be closed down completely. No notification or warning from Expedia or Howard Johnson. We are traveling with a dog and 3 year old and coming such a long way to find the hotel closed down made our travels very complicated.

We had a non smoking room for my kids and myself. Burn holes on the covers, room smell like smoke, bathroom was disgusting with hair all over and coffee pot was dirty from the last person who stayed in that room. Overall the room was very dissatisfying!

Walked into the room and was overwhelmed wirh a bleach smell. Comforters has stains from who knows what on them. Went to breakfast which was cereal that was stale as weel as the biscuits. The carpwt felt sticky when you walked on it. After coming back froma funeral the place smet like weed and bleach. Will never stay here again

Didnt like that it looked nothing like the pictures. No smoke alarm only wires hanging out. The AC didnt work well. The carpet was sticky. And holes in bedding and curtin. Continental breakfast was Yuck!! Alarms kept going off!

I was a little disappointed the tub and sink didn't drain, so we stood in ankle deep water to shower and the sink filled up as i washed my daughter's cup. Beds were horrible as well.

Not very happy customer!
Check in was great. Hallways and room was not very clean. Handle in shower was broken. Room was never cleaned during our stay. At checkout wanted to change payment method and they screwed that up and charged the wrong card even after I asked to be sure.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in the southwest Louisiana region. From the extremely hospitable staff to the clean rooms one word describes this place.... fantastic
