We apologize that you had a bad stay but we do have pest control spay for roaches every month. Louisiana is known for this problem when it rains.

They took our wet towels and did not bring any also there’s no room to drink coffee they offer you pieces of bread warm coffee and juice they do not clean your room or take your trash there is no Kleenex no coffee makers and not enough soap shampoo toilet paper.

We apologize that our housekeeping staff did not service your room properly. We do not provide coffee makers because we do have coffee in the lobby and front desk could have brought you more bathroom supplies. Again we apologize for not a great stay.

Nice Hotel but breakfast is not included.
Need it a rest on a road trip and all nice hotels were booked so I had to look for other options. The hotel is located in a historical neighborhood very close to the street shopping. Safe area and the hotel room was very clean and smell clean. The furniture seemed new. Very safe location to travel with family or by yourself. The only thing is that breakfast is NOT provided eventhough it says so when you are booking. Close to the convention center and downtown area.

Well for one thing when i got there to the room It wasn’t so clean to me. It had a bad odor and i told the lady at the front desk about it she moved me to a better smelling room. So after that all was good

It is what it is for the price point. Room was clean. I reserved a king bed, but they put us in a double and was charged the same price as king room. Don't expect much for the "breakfast". It was a couple of muffins cut up into quarters.

Very convenient to downtown Lake Charles. Property has been nicely renovated since the 2020 hurricanes. No frills, but for the price it is a good choice for an overnight stay!

Five star Howard Johnson Lake Charles LA
The staff at this Howard Johnson hotel was spectacular, so friendly and helpful they made our stay absolutely delightful. The room was clean comfortable and newly renovated, beds were great, slept well. They get five stars from us!

I do apologize that you found cockroaches in the room. We do have an exterminator that sprays the rooms every month but unfortunately in LA especially after it rains, it is a common problem.

Filthy. Regret staying.
It was disgusting to say the least. There was trash in the bathroom garbage, hair in the shower, toenail clippings on the carpet, something shives in the door peephole, kids found beads by the bed on the floor- if it wasnt late and I had kids falling asleep I would have left. We didnt shower or walk barefoot anywhere in the room. No wifi or breakfast as stated. Broken juice machine and a pot of coffee was all that was 'offered'. The perk was that the a.c. worked atleast and we had our own pillows and blankets as i didnt trust much to be clean after what we saw. I knew it was an inexpensive hotel but expected more from any hotel by wyndam.
