Not worth the moneyPosted Jul 16, 2017
The room smelled like the carpet was mildewed and sour. Several holes in the walls that had been poorly patched. Linens and towels did not smell clean. The shower walls were pieced together with upsom board from an old mobile home. Terrible experience! Thank goodness it was for only one night!!!

Nice accommodations for group travel on a budgetPosted Jul 4, 2017 on Hotels
We travelled for our State Softball tournament. The front desk staff was very friendly and attempted to help with our reservation disaster. We had 14 (maybe 15) rooms total. Some of the rooms had updated beds and the guests were pleased with the comfort. My room had horrible beds. I was too tired to notice but my husband was very disappointed. The hotel maintenance men were replacing beds daily but our room didn't make the cut during our 5 day stay. The good news is by next year all of the rooms should be updated according to the hotel office staff. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast waffles were wonderful!! Limited selection for breakfast but for free I won't complain. The complimentary dinner was nice as well. Our shower was a little noisy at times and the water temperature was unpredictable. The tub was not consistent on draining either. I did mention this to maintenance but he seemed very busy. The free ice cream ran out (probably because our teams ate it all). Ms Vivian was a pleasure to see daily. Our room was used as the "home" room with a chaotic mess. Our housekeeping was never missed and if we asked Ms Vivian for anything she came through for us. The laundry room closes at 11 (sign says 10). If your clothes (or team jerseys) are in there, they will be locked in for the night. Unless you are so fortunate to have the front desk help you into the laundry room with a master key that they deny having. Overall Super 8 is very accommodating for group travel.

I will never stay there again
American ownedPosted Apr 20, 2017 on Hotels
We stopped here on our way to another destination. American owned! Although this hotel is older, it is well maintained. Comfortable beds. Nice outdoor pool. Breakfast was okay--not as many options as I had hoped but we were well fed. I would stay again.

Do NOT stay here.Posted Apr 6, 2017
First off. Pictures online do no justice. This place is bad. Two rooms down from us, it looks like a guy who lives there. He was walking his dog scratching himself in between his legs. We get into our room... smells like cat urine, no desk, table etc. nothing to set anything on except for the tv stand. The bathroom, super dirty. We had two rooms there. We went to the front desk and had them cancel our card and we went somewhere else. This should be a -1 * "hotel". I am very displeased in Expedia for giving it a 3.1 * rating.

Midnight train to GeorgiaPosted Mar 19, 2017 on Hotels
Moved from Florida to Georgia and just needed a place along the way that accepted pets. It was fine for just that. The bldg is older and needs minor repairs. It was clean and quiet and slept well.
