Beautiful property, great location
This is an awesome place for a getaway to old Florida. The house is nicely appointed and was very clean. The screened in porch gives you an excellent view of the river and the surrounding forest. We saw deer and wild turkey almost every day. The house sits right on the Sante Fe River, where you can fish from the banks, drop in a kayak or just sit and enjoy nature all around you. It is also right between Ichetucknee Springs State Park and Ginnie Springs, so it's a great spot to use as home base and travel around to many different springs, hiking trails, parks, etc. The landlords are very nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Woods, river, springs...
We had a great time and kids loved it too. It was 9 of us - one family of 4 and one family of 5, all kids ages range from 4 to 10. We brought an inflatable mattress with us. This place is very relaxing. Google said that we had arrived at our destination but we had to drive another 50 feet or so on a dirt road thru the woods before seeing the house. But don't worry, the hosts have several signs going out a mile leading to the house. There are no other houses in sight but at night, while we were outside, we could hear people talking in the distance and see lights thru the trees across the river. We brought an inflatable kayak with us and saw other people with kayaks and floating on tubes, too. The Santa Fe river is not crystal clear like others in the area - it has a deep red hue. Next time (because there will be a next time :)), we plan on driving up a couple of miles and floating down to the house. The kitchen was stocked with the basics - cutlery, plates and mugs, salt and pepper, coffee and tea. Also, they had washer/dryer, clean towels, shampoo, and soaps. During the day we went to the springs - this was our first trip there and we enjoyed it. In the evening, we made burgers on the basic barbecue (come prepared - the closest Publix is 30 mins away) and s'mores on the campfire. The only complaint was that the sheets and pillows were from cheap polyester and the shower water pressure was very low.

River View and Relaxation
My family and I had a fantastic experience at this property known as the Santa Fe Landing. The screened in patio has a great view of the river and we took advantage of local rafting and swimming in natural springs. The owners were friendly and helped us plan our day trips. We enjoyed the solitude of the woods and the water activities. This is a very nice place to just get away.

4/5 Good

Beautiful property. Too bad we couldn't stay due to power outage.
Power went out before our arrival. We were unable to stay.
