The room was clean and quite. Bed was hood to sleep in and water was wonderful in the big shower. Service was excellent. Had breakfast ready in the morning. We stayed 4 days and three nights.

My only complaint was an issue with the hot water at breakfast. I drink tea every morning. The hot water for the tea was lukewarm. It also tasted like coffee. That dispenser was used for coffee and not properly cleaned. I was not able to have a nice hot cup of tea in the morning. It was very disappointing.

On 2 different occasions I shared the elevator with an individual who was going to another motels because they were disturbed by barking dogs.They were on different floors. I stayed in 219 and heard a small dog barking down the hallway. The lady at the desk let me know that dogs were not allowed, when I inquired. The toilet was not well bolted to the floor in my room. The shower was weak because the water was forced into the wall behind the faucet. This did not happen when filling the tub. Both were reported at the desk.

This was a really great hotel, not only was it clean and well cared for but the staff we encountered were extremely attentive. Overall this Hampton location is really well managed. Debbie at the front desk is the reason I would go back again, she was extremely helpful and willing to share insight about the area. She was professional yet friendly and went the extra mile. She made the stay at Somerset why I would come back to Somerset and stay at this hotel again.

Decent place for your money
I stayed at two Hampton Inns on this road trip. One in South Carolina and this one in KY. Both were pretty much exactly alike. Clean comfy room with a big TV with HBO channels. Sign in the bathroom said just call the desk for a complimentary replacement if you forget your toothbrush or shaving cream or something. That was a nice touch. Good free breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, pastries and our favorite, the belgian waffle maker. Super friendly staff.
