Pros: Location and price
People in other rooms were drunk and making lots of noise and fights. Beds were a disappointment

Needs remodeling.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Reservation could not be found nor did they have a room for us at first. When we finally get a room it smelled strongly of smoke. There was no safe in the room even though they charged us aromatic ally for it. Sheets and pillowcases were very wrinkled and looked like they were never changed. We choose this facility because of the rating and price. We do, however, want to say that Viren Patel was very polite and an asset to Red Roof.

wet floorsPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: it was close to our reunion hall and lots of eating places close.
Cons: need to check there rooms after a heavy rain and air them out once and a while.
Location: lake Cumberland is close and lots of nice places to eat and everyone in the town was very nice to us.
they had a rain before we got there and rain water ran under door and the floor was very wet. the room had a mildew smell and had to turn a/c up to help with smell. if I wasn't just so tired I would have checked out . most of the motels in the area was full so I knew I couldn't drive any longer. I know now why this one still had rooms. the staff and check-in was great there lobby was clean but that about the only good I can give it.

Nice hotel, close to amenities.Posted Sep 18, 2015
Pros: It was close to where I needed to be at a reasonable rate.
Cons: Add a waffle maker to the breakfast.
Location: Somerset is a growing small town with a lot of nice people. There are plenty of great restaurants, and plenty of historical sights to see.
We were close to the event we were attending, as well as shopping and restaurants. Somerset has changed quite a bit since when I grew up there, but the people haven't changed much. The other residents of the motel range from very quiet, religious types that aren't afraid to tell you about The Lord, to the rowdy party crowd, that might be a little noisy at night. However, when you consider the reasonableness of the room rates, you learn to accept this. If you want a quieter room somewhere else, the rates are higher. If you want to pay less, you can get louder accommodations.

Not to cleanPosted Sep 14, 2015
Hair in the towels and not enough towels. They should of said they allow pets so you don't get a room stained with waste of animals.

Staff is accommodating. Hotel is adequate.Posted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: Convenience to lake area and the helpfulness of the staff.
Cons: Both beds in our room (104) were not very comfortable. There seems to be a lot of riff raff that congregate in the parking lot at this hotel.
Location: Lake Cumberland
Close proximity to Lake Cumberland is why we chose this hotel. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The room was good size and clean but needs a little updating.

Better optionsPosted Aug 28, 2015
Got to the hotel and didn't get a king like I booked. The clerk at the front desk told me since I booked thru Expedia I had to take what they gave me. Room was a no smoking room that had obviously been smoked in. Once again no sympathy from front desk.
