“Beautiful property on the lake. Check in was slow and they were behind schedule, which was frustrating. However, they gave us free breakfast vouchers, which helped. The restaurant was great, we ended up eating there twice. It’s also one of the only waterfront places to eat, as most of downtown isn’t waterfront. It’s a quick walk to downtown, but it’s hilly at points. It was nice to relax by the lake and watch the sunset, and enjoy the firepits at night. There’s also a cute ice cream place next……

“Tv did not work. Gentleman came in And said they ordered ROKU but they were not there yet. In the hallway so many cobwebs and light fixture full of flies. Would never stay again. Not clean at all.”

Also, the service, food and cocktails at the restaurant was so so good. Make sure to make reservations to secure your spot for a great dinner experience!”

“We have been coming here for 15 years. They really need to update the workout room, the machines are old and not working. The bathroom showers still need grout cleaning and I told the front desk. Paid $370 for waterfront room for one night. They do allow you to go on the lake early upon arrival while you wait for the room. The kids love stopping here before we spend the week in saranac. It's a great hotel but definitely can use some updating in certain areas. The landscaping by the pool area……

“Family and I stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed all the amenities the hotel included like coffee in the morning and kayaking which was fun. Staff was always helpful and friendly. The property is in a great location and we definitely recommend this hotel. We loved it and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Cambria Hotel!”

“There were some pros and cons. The construction was a huge disappointment. In the addition of having to drive and walk though the construction areas (mud and maybe nails), we also had to hear the noise in the evening and early morning. We should’ve been notified or at least offered a discount because of the inconvenience. The private beach was nice, but there were no towels because they ran out. Be prepared to bring some from the hotel. No ventilation in the bathroom, toilet paper isbetween……

“The place is nice and was much bigger than expected. It was also really quiet which I appreciated because I am a very poor sleeper. At some point, as I'm sure the owner knows, he will need to recaulk the bathtub in room 3. Also, for $300 a night I would have expected better coffee and creamer that wasn't frozen solid. Just sayin'...”

“Easy, free parking and clean updated facilities made our stay enjoyable. The A/C unit was a bit loud but serviceable. Coffee maker and coffee were good. Not much in the way of amenities like breakfast or elevator but overall a nice place to stay.”

“The Pros: Comfortable beds and living room seating, easy to use shower, kitchen with all the basic essentials, excellent location with easy access to multiple good restaurants and a park next door with a lake view The Cons: The stairs to the 3rd floor where most of the units are located are old and steep and have been covered with a vinyl material so that every step you take makes a terrible crunching noise.
