This is a well-kept old hotel in the very center of the city. Staff is wonderful, location the best. Incredible views from the breakfast room

Great place in the heart of Riva Del Garda
Great Hotel in fantastic place - right in the heart of Riva Del Garda! Nice rooms, decent bar, rich healthy breakfast with a splendid view!!! Only two things: fridge and ac in the room didn't work. AC controller was broken, fridge warmed up instead of cooling down. Well, fortunately we didn't need it, just keep in mind. Also, there is no parking lot at the hotel, but PLs are at 5 minutes walk (toll) and 15 minutes walk (free). Also there is a supermarket in a distance of 5 minutes walk.

Lovely hotel, with spectacular views over the marina at the top of Lake Garda and beautiful mountains behind. The restaurant offers a panoramic view of both. Very well situated in the middle of Riva del Garda.

More like a 2 star hotel
Staff in this hotel are so miserable. No one smiles, the lack of customer service is really frustrating. All of them require re-training on the essential and basics on how to deal with customers. First rule - SMILE!! The reason this property is considered a 4 star is due to the approximity to everything. It’s cebtrally locates. Our room was fairly small. The mattress on the bed must be at least 15 years old as it was in a terrible state. The lock on the door leading to the balcony didn’t shut properly. Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. What mostly saddens me however was the rudeness of people in Garda. The only good experience I had was when we had our car washed at the petrol shed leaving town and the the owner was super friendly and well travelled so was very accommodating and incredibly kind.

Convenient & Clean Hotel a few steps from the lake
Excellent location in Riva Del Garda, Nice rooms. Lower levels view is covered by trees so might be disappointing if you choose a suite. Otherwise all good and breakfast is good and with a breathtaking view!

Nice location, low quality hotel
The hotel has a great location that guarantees the hotel to have a lot of customers so for this reason the owner has decided to offer a low quality service. The hotel itself is ok and junior suite has a good size. The breakfast is ok but with terrible coffee. The real problem is the staff that is tired of dealing with complaints and most probably underpaid. The bar is unattended most of the times so don't rely on it. (most probably the situation is different in high season)

Very poor
I was told there was a bathroom problem in the room I booked so I was transferred to a very basic hotel down the street. I was originally told no compensation was available as all the hotels charge the same rate. I pointed out I'd booked a 4* Grand hotel and was now in at best what I would describe as a 2* hotel. I was later offered free food in the hotel that evening. But I went twice and both times it was completely full of German pensioners and the noise was incredible. Very unhappy.

Great location, poor food
Family wedding reception held here. Location, room size and staff all very good. Food is not up to 4* standard, do NOT book half board but take advantage of the wide variety of good quality restaurants all very close - this hotel is absolutely central in Riva del Garda.

Great location but noisy as a result
The hotel was in a great location but because of this it was quite noisy, mostly not the fault of the hotel but on a couple of nights there were functions on, including a wedding that went on late into the evening. The room was clean and breakfast was plentiful.

Not what we'd hoped for/paid for...
We paid extra for a room with a view but the sliding glass window was so dirty, we practically could not see through it. The window lined hallway was dingy because the windows were filthy. This "Grand" was not grand. Not a 4 star hotel.

The room was extremely hot for the time of year, no AC was permitted / or to be switched on - did not expect this for a 4 star hotel located in the centre. Hotel provided us with fan however. Parking was also a problem, long process but eventually managed.

The hotel was right in the centre. Very tastefully decorated and the rooms in great condition. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good

More Travel Lodge than 4 star
This is clearly NOT a 4 star hotel - it has the feel of a Travel Lodge. Once, it was probably good value but definitely not now. It was clean and comfortable with an excellent location but appalling value for money. The rooms are 'plastic' with torn / damaged beds. There is no atmosphere, not porter, not welcome from staff. The buffet breakfast meats, cheese etc were left getting warm and the coffee and juice served out of a machine! Fine for 2 star but not 4 star with 4 star prices. Appalling value for money - avoid if you desire 4 star value.
