Fantastic hotel
Fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The reception area was pristine. We had arrived late in the evening but check in was fast. There is a lift in the building to all the floors. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic with hot and cold food, breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am so no need to rush. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s in the centre of town but was also very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were always on hand if needed and was knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the town and the local area. We are already planning our next holiday and will stay in Hotel Bonotto, highly recommend.

Amazing hotel, very clean and in a great location, walking distance to everything. Amazing rooftop with hot tub and lovely views when having breakfast. Manuel the manager was amazing at looking after us whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend

Friendly staff. Parking is at a nearby garage, you pay the hotel and they give you a card that lets you drive in and out of the garage as often as you like. Good breakfast (much better than most in Europe) on the rooftop. So nice morning view across the lake. Desenzano de Garda was a pleasant surprise. A very nice town with lots of places to eat, drink, shop or just walk around.

Definitely recommend
This hotel is immaculately clean The location is excellent , just a shirt stroll to the centre of town but very quiet. Large rooms with a balcony(you pay a little more but worth it)

I had a lake view and views of the castle but this means overlooking a busy road too. The breakfast room is a lovely rooftop terrace which an incredible view.

Excellent location. 10 mins walk to pier. Or 25 mins walk to train station. Mini supermarket nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely view in the breakfast area. Good variety of breakfast.

Liked the fact it was a few minutes away from the lake. Good choice for breakfast (pancakes, cereal, croissants, fruit..) like the fact that it was on the top floor as the view was lovely.

Location good, hotel just okay.
Hotel was okay, not sure why all the excellent reviews as it is just an average hotel. The view we had was horrible so I would request a high room. The balcony was one of the worst I have ever seen, full of rust. The hotel is in need of renovation. Breakfast area was nice and breakfast was good, scrambled eggs looked horrendous. We had a problem with the parking, it never worked the hotel said it wasn’t their fault but the garages they need to get these things right for their guests. Apparently there is free parking nearby but we were not told about this . Overall good location, hotel just ok. We stayed in a lot nicer for the same price around Garda.

Very good well run hotel
Very helpful and welcoming staff. Clean well equipped rooms with recent addition of tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge. Very good buffet style breakfast selection with fantastic views over the lake and available until 10am. Two minute walking distance to the promenade and five minute walk to shops and restaurants.Stunning views from the roof terrace across town and up the lake.

Hotel is in a great location near to centre of Desenzano for bars, restaurants, boats etc but just far enough away for quiet at night. Very clean, lovely room and bathroom and wonderful roof terrace for breakfast.

Modern room in great location
Hotel Bonotto is in a great location just a few metres from the lake and very close to the bars and restaurants of Desenzano. Room is good, clean and modern and service great. Breakfast on the roof each morning was nice.

Ok hotel close to lake and restaurants
Good location close to restaurants. No car park so paid €10 to park 100m away. Main issue was that air con was inadequate on a very hot night. Not able to get a drink in the bar in the evening, night receptionist disinterested. On a positive note breakfast is included and the view is great.

Good hotel with helpful staff, in a great location
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and speak good English. The hotel has fantastic views of the lake from the breakfast terrace, and is well located for the lake, and only a short walk from the town centre. We were very pleased with almost all aspects of our stay; the only negative one being that our room was a little small for four people.

Great terrace view
Good location, easy walk to town and downhill from train station (but recommend a taxi back). The hotel itself is nice, clean and the views from the breakfast terrace make it worth it. Only niggle is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours and the air conditioning was very noisy (the heat made it unbearable without it).

Nice hotel in excellent location! Very close to town and lakeside amenities. Good value, friendly staff and tea facilities in room(not common in Italy). Great variety of hot and cold for breakfast.

Beautiful location
Brilliant experience at this hotel. So close to everything and with stunning views of the lake from our balcony. We received a welcome drink on arrival which we thought was lovely! Breakfast area has a panoramic view of the lake and I would highly reccomened this hotel. Walking distance to the pier to jump the boat to any other destinations around the lake.

Close to lake and town centre
Really good position, 20 min walking from train station (downhill), staff kind, they would keep our baggages after check-out. Room clean, just a bit weird with glass door for bathroom as you can see and hear everything. It's all electronic, so just didn't like that the air con would start every time on its own or we couldn't leave the "do not disturb" sign when going to breakfast. We then found the cleaner in the room when we had to quickly get ready and we left all our stuff around. Really nice breakfast hall with view on the lake. Haven't tried any meal there. Overall, great stay!

Excellent location, we used the ferries, train and bus for getting round the Lake and visited Verona and Venice. Verona was well worth a visit as was sirmoine, Gardone and Garda. we didn't want to come home. We loved the atmosphere in Dezensano on Wednesday Evening with the bands and singers. It was a perfect evening sitting in many of the bars and cafes watching the bands and listening to the music.

A great night in Desenzano
A great night to Celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. So close to restaurants and the centre. Waking up to breakfast on the 5th floor terrace was absolutely gorgeous.
