Beautiful hotel with stunning views

Location: Lake Garda in general! Limone, Trento, Salo, Sirmione and Molveno stood out, Gargnano is small but very nice, Torbole & Torri del Benaco also good.
We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and could not have chosen better. The views of the lake and surrounding hills are incredible. The grounds are beautiful and it is well worth going for a walk around the trail (there are some steep steps). The hotel itself is very well-appointed. We had a junior suite and it was a lovely size. The pools are superb and surprisingly quiet (in October). Didn't use the spa. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and good English speakers. Others have mentioned the drive. The last 10 minutes are up a steep, fairly narrow road with a number of hairpins. My wife and I both drove, including in the dark and once in thick fog (<50m visibility) and we agreed it was scarier for the passenger! An automatic will make your life a lot easier. There is a free and excellent shuttle to Gargnano but it only runs during the day / early evening. Mineral water provided in the room is free. The breakfasts are superb. The other meals are also good, but overpriced IMHO. A buffet lunch for 2 with 1 bottle of mineral water was €75. There are two restaurants, one formal and one informal. The formal one tries to be fine dining, and is very nice, but we had a much better meal in Gargnano itself for less € (Trattoria San Martino Tre Oche). The informal place is less good and only a few € cheaper. My penne carbonara wasn't great, and the live band in the lounge bar next door clashed with the recorded music in the restaurant.

Here wellness is everywhere: in the sunlight that streams through the large windows, in the wonderful gardens, in the water of the swimming pools, in the Suites which feature the most precious local materials and in the magical atmosphere that envelops everything. As far as your comment about the Resort's location is concerned, we want to clarify that the property is located on a hill above the village of Gargnano just 6 km far from the main Lake Road, which during the summer season is crowded and noisy. Many Guests believe that our location has a great advantage over most of the other lake properties because it has an amazing view over the lake as well as offering a sense of peace and exclusivity. We do provide a free shuttle service for our Guests to and from Gargnano. Last, we are sorry to read that our culinary offer did not fulfil your expectations, especially given the great effort we take to offer our Guests the best local products, according to the principles of our Lefay Vital Gourmet sustainable cuisine. I will share you comment with our Executive Manager in order to improve our service. Luxusresort über dem Gardasee

Uns hat v.a. der Pool begeistert. Wunderschön gelegen und nicht zu überlaufen. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön. Leider waren die Saunen nur auf mittlerer Temperatur eingestellt. Mancher ist auch mit Badehose und ohne Handtuch in die Sauna. :-( Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Leider war das Duschen von der Wassertemperatur her ein Glücksspiel (heiß/kalt)... Das Frühstück ist lecker und es gibt eine große Auswahl. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist herrlich. Die Drinks am Pool und an den Bars sind nicht gerade günstig aber gut. Das Essen in der Trattoria hat uns nicht überzeugt: Einfach zu teuer für die gebotene Leistung. Lieber ein Restaurant im Umkreis empfehlen lassen. Wir waren in "La Fontanelle" in Gargnano durekt am See und haben gut und günstig gegessen. Im Gourmet-Restaurant "La Limonella" waren wir nicht. Das Publikum im Hotel ist sehr gehoben aber wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu empfehlen ist noch die Wanderung zum "Cima Comer": mit dem Auto kann man nach Briano bis kurz vor den Anfang des Wanderweges fahren. Hier sind es ca. 45 - 60 Min. bis zum tollen Aussichtspunkt. Am Ende ist es jedoch relativ steinig und steil. Wir haben es aber auch mit Turnschuhen geschafft. ;-) Fazit: tolles 5* Luxusresort mit Hammer Pool und guten Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Restaurants eher im Tal suchen.

Bezüglich Ihres Kommentars darf ich darauf hinweisen, dass sich jede unserer sechs Saunen durch unterschiedliche Temperatur- und Feuchtigkeitsgrade auszeichnet und somit den unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen des Organismus Rechnung trägt. Es tut mir leid, dass die Nutzungsregeln nicht von allen Gästen respektiert wurden. Lovely hotel with stunning views

The hotel overlooks Lake Garda and has stunning views, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Our only criticism was the cost of food and drinks, we felt there was no need to charge these prices (9euros for a cup of tea!!)

Beautiful setting, lovely hotel and facilities.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the only negative for us was the cost of food and drink. €9 for a cup of tea? Because we hired a car we were able to drive down to the lake front and eat in local restaurants. The spa treatments were lovely and a beautiful tranquil setting made for a relaxing break away.

Luxus Hotel mit kleinem Makel

Also kurz zum Anfang, das Hotel und das Personal ist perfekt! Die einzigsten Mängel gibt es beim Restaurant und am TV. Im Restaurant sind die Preise für das erhaltene Essen zu hoch. Die Qualität der Speisen ist auf höchstem Niveau, aber die Umsetzung ist leider nicht auf dem gleichem... Der Mangel am TV ist dieser, das es immer wieder Ton und Bildaussetzer gibt. Das kommt vermutlich von einer schlechten bis mangelhaften Kopfstelle die solche Datenraten nicht schafft. (Klassiker bei IP-TV) Aber im großen und ganzem ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einem sehr gut eingespielten Serviceteam.

Best experience of my life!

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly, everything was in great condition, the decor and room were beautiful and the views are amazing!
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect!
My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and could not recommend it enough. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway where you can just enjoy a gorgeous view, be waited on 24/7 and leave feeling refreshed you couldn't pick a better place. We were personally greeted when we arrived and given a complimentary arrival drink which we enjoyed on their balcony overlooking their beautiful pools and Lake Garda. Our room was so much more spacious than expected, we had our own private outdoor space and we were given a personal tour of the whole resort - with further private tours available upon request of the spas and fitness areas when requested. The food from the 2 restaurants, pool bar and room service were all amazing and we didn't even end up eating anywhere else during our stay. The spa was great, with so many options to choose from. The staff were friendly and professional and helped us select the best /most appropriate services for ourselves. They even have options for couples if you want to do something with your partner. There are free fitness and relaxation classes happening daily as well as a gym open 24/7 - which my husband took full advantage of. The pools and saunas are all different in temperature, location and experience so you can be sure to find something you will like. We arrived tried from a wedding and left fully rejuvenated after our weeks stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway you don't have to leave to enjoy yourself.

Vi har været på hotellet for 2 år siden og oplevede på daværende et mere spændende menukort, som i år var lidt "tyndt". Serviceniveauet var også faldet i forhold til for 2 år siden. Men fortsat et hotel langt over middel, men det stod ikke helt mål med prisen.

Awesome stay in lake Garda

We stayed in Lefay for 3 days in July 2016 and had an awesome experience. The room was very clean, lots of room for luggage (almost a walk-in closet), soundproofed, comfortable bed, lots of extras like flip flops. The pool and sauna area was above my expectations. I have not seen pools that were better maintained or cleaner. Lots of choice of saunas and relaxation areas. This is not your regular hotel spa. 5 or so saunas at different humidity and temperature, relaxation area with water beds and so on. I regret not staying here longer so that I can enjoy it more. Very relaxing! The service was excellent as well. we called in to let the know that we will be checking in late, probably past 11pm. I got a call around 10pm and they asked me if we will be hungry when we arrive. Delicious food in the 2 restaurants. The best tasting veggie sandwich that I have ever had! They make their own olive oil. The view was magnificent. My only complaint will be that the room did not have blackout curtains and I woke up from the light (there are dark curtains but not blackout). I hope that I get a chance to stay at Lefay again.
