Location is in the thick of eating/shopping area

We checked in after a long travel day, ending with rain. We went to the only restaurant that looked open, a Chinese restaurant that was very good, but pricey. Back to the hotel for much needed rest, in a pouring rain. In the middle of the night, rain, dripping from the beams onto our heads, woke us up! We had to remake the bed to put our heads where our feet were. In the morning when we reported this circumstance, the desk clerk was not too prompt to suggest a remedy - only said the technician was not available since it was a weekend. She shrugged, looked annoyed, and when we asked if we could be moved, we were shown rooms which were downgrades. Later, the manager upgraded us to a larger room directly across the hall and for that we were thankful.
The hotel does offer a very good breakfast included in the room rate. And the hotel is near the train line which is free and which runs through the city; you get on at Besserie to take it right down to the lake, and also you can take it to the main train station, if that is your point of departure.
I would only recommend this hotel if you can get Room 58. Other rooms are very small, or dripping wet if it's rainy!
