Nice hotel on the lake

We enjoyed our stay at Movenpick. The room was quite comfortable and the staff were very helpful at check in when we needed to change from a king to two queen beds. However the breakfast was disappointing (eggs basically not worth eating).

Incredible views and location

Right on the lake. Views of the Alps. Handy for businesses along the lake and close to the centre. Lakeside restaurants serving very fresh fish with local wines can be a real treat.

Location was stunning

Pros: Location couldn't have been better Great room. Standards very good Staff were very helpful and greeted us with a drink at reception - nice touch! Allowed to take the car over the pavement and right to the front door where staff took masses of stuff to our room Staff were definitely the best asset. Perfect English and lots of info
Cons: £35 a night car parking - really? We had a hamburger and fries, 2 glasses of wine, and two drinks - £100! We didn't eat there again Reception toilets locked for some reason on second day, forced to go into the basement toilet, my wife was not impressed with the staff response
Location: Just go for a drive, you don't need to do anything more, take in the scenery Plenty of shops nearby as well as local cafes Sail around the lake

Great hotel for crossing Lac Leman to France

We felt very welcome with our dog. Front desk guy spoke excellent English and was very friendly. Beds were super comfortable. Nice bathtub and a free rubber ducky. Easy access to the boat docks to cruise gorgeous Lake Geneva.

Good but very bad value for money balance

In typical Swiss fashion this hotel was well kept, not really luxurious, but good overall, the downside, very bad value for money, but it is prevalent theme all over Switzerland.

Nice hotel in front of the harbor

Pros: Nice and clean with friendly staff.
Cons: Rethink the payment method; reserving the money at the checkin and recharging the card again at the checkout and u wait until the bank release it!
Location: Just relax and enjoy the scenic; food and snacks are down with various tastes even Halal is across the street!
It was 2 dreamy nights we relax and enjoy the beach on foot and the friendly staff offer very useful recommendations and the hotels gave us a public transportation cards!

Excellent staff, but

This hotel has good potential mainly the reception and room service staff. they are excellent and helpful. I was looking forward to my stay, but was disappointed at the condition of the beds, pillows, and sheets. They are lumpy , uncomfortable and very old to a degree they were very worn. another disappointment , we ordered a room service, the food we received was different from the menu. When we called to have our order , the kitchen staff just took out the egg,bacon and onion from the burger and gave the same meal to us again . We were so tierd, we left it( ofcourse we paid for it ). One would expect a new burger from Mcdonald if they mess up the order, not take the onion and give it back to you .

Excellent.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The restaurant had quite an array of food, though I would not recommend the "Cold Melon Soup", unless you're a serious melon enthusiast. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and you have the option of parking across the road for cheaper than the hotel's parking option. Right outside the marina, it's a lovely spot that over looks the lake. I highly recommend this hotel.
