Great place to stay for a ski trip to Gore Mountain. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities; hotel was easy to get to and conveniently located to restaurants; room was clean. Would consider a stay here again!

When I travel I don't normally stay in a chain hotel but most of the inns around the Lake George area are closed for the winter season. Overall my stay was pleasant. Once all the children and families were gone the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Saturday night was a crap show. It was loud and noisy and I had to call the front desk at 1am due to drunk people in the hallways all night. Not the hotels fault. Luckily we stayed on Sunday night, so it was quite and was able to sit by the fireplace and enjoy the moment. This hotel probably isn't the best choice if you are traveling with your significant other. But if you have kids, its a great location. They have an outdoor hot tub as well. Very nice outdoor patio with fire pits and beautiful views of the mountains. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't lock which I didn't like. Overall I am giving it 4 stars. It's convenient to downtown Lake George, convenient to all the hiking trails, clean and great staff. I absolutely would not go near this hotel in the summer. 😂

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Lake George for the winter getaway with my husband and 3 children (under 10) When we arrived, we were greeted by Becca, the most kind person at the front desk who advised us of our Kids suite with included 2 incredibly comfy Queen beds & a connecting (massive room) with bunk beds, kids tables and bean bag seats. This was the most comfortable sleeping arrangements we have had at a hotel. the rooms were also very clean. We had a visit with Santa in the lobby, complete with cookie decorating and crafts. The pool and outdoor hot tub were awesome, not to mention the little arcade and play area were just perfect for our kids. The hotel restaurant had the best breakfast, fresh fruits, delicious omelettes and waffles. Best part - kids ate free! We had such an excellent winter getaway - could not say enough great things about our stay!!! Thank you!

Likes - very convenient, easy accessible, clean. Dislikes - room needed more soundproofing, we heard everything in the hallway, and in this day and age having tiny single-use shampoo and etc containers is totally unacceptable. Either offer nothing or have refillable containers in the bathroom.

We liked the hotel and the area. Pool was nice and exercise room was clean and modern. We did not go to the breakfast area but I did order a salad one night and it was good and affordable. Having the restaurant on site is nice. What we didn’t like was bathroom layout. No where to hang wet towels or toiletry bags. We also wished there was 24 hour coffee or tea in the reception area. We don’t care for machine coffee in the room. Cleaning service every night is now a luxury so we enjoyed that. Everyone was nice and the location is great. Even though there is a stipulation on quiet time no one seemed to pay attention and our next door neighbor had a TV blaring until 2 AM.
