Rooms were fine but mgmt seemed dishonest

Cons: Waffle Iron wasn't non-stick, no non-stick spray available. Had to the flake the waffles out with a plastic fork. Gave up and went elsewhere on day 3.
Reserved room for 3 nights but they checked me out of my Expedia reservation after the first night and wanted to run my card for the next two - apparently avoiding the Expedia commission but no discount passed along to me. When I asked why he was doing this he said it was their normal way of doing it. I've never had another Expedia reservation closed out after the first night and then been charged directly for the next nights. Seems dishonest and I'm sure Expedia doesn't appreciate it - that would have reduced their commission by 2/3rds and I probably would have lost out on any brownie points from Expedia. Anyway, after trying to talk me into paying separately he finally agreed to just extend my Expedia reservation and run the charge through them. The worst part of it was that I'd carried the family's gear upstairs and down the long hallway when I found out our keys no longer worked because they had checked me out after night #1. There are lots of places to stay in Lake Havasu City and there was nothing special about this place. There's no reason for me to go back.

I'm sorry but I think there was a misunderstanding. Your room was booked as a "Hotel Collect" reservation. This is a new feature Expedia offers where you can pay the hotel instead of paying Expedia. We never cancelled your Expedia reservation to avoid paying commission. we never charged Expedia for the 1st night, or the 2nd and 3rd. We charged your card all three nights. I'm sorry there was this misunderstanding, but we did not try to take advantage of you, or cheat you.

I am sorry you feel like we advertised something we didn't have, but these pictures were just taken in January on our property. There is no false advertisement here. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

Inaccurate descriptions on Motel website

No elevators. Very limited Continental Breakfast. No wash cloths unless you go to desk to get them. No newspapers as mentioned on the Motel website. Poor air-conditioning in rooms. Electrical plugs loose and unsafe. Poor plumbing and maintenance all around. Sorry, this is definitely not a place I would recommend or ever stay at again.

the place,was ok..they gave us old towels. i font know the shelf life of a rowel, but if it has holes i think its time to replace.

You are right, you should not have gotten towels with holes in them. I am very sorry. Our old towels we save and use as rags for cleaning the rooms, and for guests to use on their cars and boats. There must have been a mix up in the towels. Again, I am very sorry about that.

Nothing fancy

Pros: Reasonable price. Nice view of the lake
Cons: Needs some TLC
Location: Close enough to the London bridge and the downtown area. We went hiking in Lake Havasu National Park
The room was clean. This is an older hotel in need of renovation. It was okay for the price.

Pros: The room was spacious and bathroom clean
Cons: Continental breakfast was not very good. Oatmeal packets, muffins, bread and cold cereal, were the only real choices.
Location: Great location, easy to find, museum across the street.
Met our needs. We had late check in and early out, so we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub or swimming pool.

Look elsewhere

Room was clean but dated. Walls are thin for sure. Continental breakfast was poor. Little selection, rotted fruit, stale cereal. Would not recommend.
