Sketchiest establishment i have ever encountered. Maria, the woman running the front office took about 20 min to awkwardly check us in, and finally "called" her cleaning service lady to make sure the room was "clean" to let us in and gave us the key. Upon entry we noticed multiple suspicious factors.... dirty sock under the microwave, old leftover food in the fridge and cubbies, dirty pillows with hair, and when we went to maria to explain that we no longer felt comfortable with our stay, we asked for a refund. We were told by her that she could not help; because we booked through expedia. We called expedia and the representative said she would have to call the resort to get their side of the situation in order to recieve a refund(not what maria said). After speaking with her, they informed me that maria denies any wrongdoing and we could not get a refund because we used a bar of soap to wash our hands and towel to dry. (And with the whole covid going on, we felt the need to disinfect our hands after touching everything)
Maria still denied everything. Thankfully, expedia gave us an immediate credit so we were able to stay somewhere else,it was already late. The fact that she lied straight to our faces disappointed me. I understand mistakes happen, but own up to it and be honest. Would NOT recommend this place. Dishonest and filthy.
