We loved staying in this hotel, the room was spacious with an AMAZING view! The transport links were great with a direct bus to the airport, the restaurants and bars around were fantastic. The staff at the hotel were very attentive, extremely helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend for a lovely relaxing stay

By the lake in Baveno
Nice hotel in a great location. Good breakfast options. Nice pool and terraces. Common areas upstairs a little tired but room fine if a little dated. Good value for money.

Reception staff were excellent , warm reception and informative. Lack of in room tea/coffee making facilities is not ideal and even budget hotels provide this,however both could be purchased at extra cost from the bar if required. Given this hotel has coach parties the high turn over was evident in my room the walls were scuffed and marked albeit the room being clean apart from the invisible cobwebs during daylight hours. would I stay here again , most certainly yes.

So convenient. Close to the bus stop (if the bus comes) and the ferry stop for boat journies around the lake. Boats are very punctual.

An absolutely amazing time at a great hotel.
We looked all over the area for the best place to stay within our budget. There are some very fancy high-end hotels that are available in Stresa and Baveno, but I have to say that we lucked out when we selected this one. The location is absolutely perfect: just steps from the ferry for Isole Borromee (Madre, Bella, Superiore) - and the view is even better of these islands from Baveno than Stresa. Now once you're here you'll be greeted with the friendliest and most helpful staff we encountered on our trip. Excellent suggestions on our itinerary and the best recommendations for some of the most amazing eating we did in Italy. The breakfast was included with the stay and while basic, it was very well presented and quite tasty. Our room was quite comfortable and much more spacious than we expected. We even extended our stay an extra day mostly due to the wonderful experience at this hotel. I will be back!

Convenient location is the main strength.
Beau Rivage is conveniently located to the middle of town, steps away from where to catch boats for excursions to other parts of the lake. The room is dated. Although the bathroom was actually nicely updated. The air conditioner was controlled from the desk (!) and for the first 3 days we had no control of the temperature until we figured out what was going on and complained. The beds were very old and very uncomfortable. I think the location makes up for most of those things tho. The food at the hotel restaurant is fair and probably one can do better by eating at one of the many restaurants steps away from the hotel. The staff was pleasant.

Excellent stay in Baveno
Hotel was excellent: kind and helpful personnel (especially the young lady at the reception), good breakfast, great outdoor pool and garden. Our room was greatly positioned: last floor, suite style with living and stairs to the main bed, huge balcony with breathtaking views of the Borromean Islands. Main downsize is the AC, old and extremely noisy, also the mini fridge is not working well. but all in all, excellent stay.

Perfect Location
While accepting that it is a 3 star hotel it deserves a much higher rating when it comes to, Location,Staff,& some facilities. Firstly,the ONLY negative was having a room with balcony at the front,it was well furnished with a very smart large bathroom,but the road noise from traffic through the night was disturbing. Having said that we were so pleased with everything else,from the warm welcome to friendly helpful staff in every section,particularly Daniel who seemed to have an answer to everything,providing,maps,information about restaurants,tours,he even apologized when we were overcharged by a local taxi!. Great breakfast buffet not to be missed,lovely swimming pool,modern bar. All overshadowed by the incredible views & ideal situation for everything in Baveno

Relaxing haven in a beautiful location
After my booking, I contacted the hotel to ask about my friend joining me for 3 nights. They were most helpful with this. Daniele also helped book a local taxi to collect me from the airport as other transfers weren't my best option. The staff were welcoming, friendly & very helpful. The breakfast was basic but plentiful. The photos don't do it justice. I had a garden view room which was very pretty. The pool is fantastic & maintained well. Overall I had a relaxing stay and would highly recommend this hotel & Baveno in general. ps Tip: Mosquito repellant essential for those prone to being feasted on.

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake. Beautiful large room with balcony to the side with views to the lake and mountain. Helpful friendly staff. Good breakfast. Bathroom a little dated with a very slow shower, but very clean.

Great Position - Average hotel
Great position in Baveno, very close to boat quay, centre, restaurants & bars etc. Room was clean, but very basic. We had a great lake view with a large terrace. Wifi only available in the lobby area was free but didnt work. General condition was OK, but very old fashioned. Pool area was OK too.Given the position (and the price) I would have expected better.

The Hotel Beau Rivage- in a beautiful setting
Stayed at the hotel for three nights in August. Beautiful setting right on the side of Lake Maggiore. Paid extra for lakeside view and were not dissapointed! Very comfortable room, fantastic view, good breakfast choice, and excellent service.

First time in Baveno, not knowing what to expect hotelwise. Pleasently surprised with the hotel. We had a lovely room over looking the lake. The service was of a high standard. The only slight disappointment were the breakfasts as no cooked items were provided.There also could have been a variety of cheese. The hotel is near the boat station.

Gut: - Sehr nettes Personal. - Zimmer sind in einem guten Zustand. - Zimmerreinigung sehr gut. Schlecht: - Zimmer sind hellhörig. - Die Zimmertüren sind eine Katastrophe. Bei den Türen handelt es sich um normale dünne Holztüren. Diese werden vor allem morgens in der Früh von den Gästen dermaßen zugeschmissen, dass man aus dem Bett fällt. Auch bekommt man jegliche Unterhaltung auf dem Flur durch die Zimmertüre mit.

Parfait !
Situation idéale face aux îles Boromée. Le personnel est exceptionnel, et la vue est magnifique pour les chambres avec vue lac (le lever de soleil est une expérience magique). Notre chambre était en duplex, avec deux salles de bain et un frigo. Le buffet de petit déjeuner est très complet. Nous reviendrons !

un excellent souvenir de Baveno
Hôtel très bien situé au bord du lac. Notre chambre était située au calme côté montagne hors des nuisances de la route qui sépare l'hôtel de la promenade au bord du lac . Très pratique car le débarcadère de Baveno est à quelques minutes à pied (excursions, croisières). Personnel impeccable, excellente organisation pour les mesures Covid. Bravo !

Chambre économique minimaliste manque de rangements mais mêmes prestations que pour les autres: bonne literie serviettes, savon, crème pour le corps, petit réfrigérateur et mise à disposition de serviettes de plage pour la piscine chaque jour. Personnel sympathique, très bel hôtel et très bien placé juste en face des embarcadères pour visite entre autre des îles Borromees.

Zeer vriendelijk en betrokken personeel! Bij het inchecken kregen we uitgebreide tips voor leuke activiteiten in de omgeving en goede restaurants. Verder zijn er 2 bewaakte plekken rondom het hotel waar gasten kunnen parkeren. Enige eventuele minpuntje was dat de kamers/gangen wel erg gehorig waren, maar wij hebben hier ‘s nachts geen last van gehad.

struttura ben organizzata, pulita, personale gentile sempre pronto ad accogliere le nostre richieste. Reception ineccepibile cordiali e molto gentili. L'unico appunto che possiamo fare è che nella camera mancherebbe una cassettiera per meglio sistemare la biancheria. Il resto perfetto così come è!
