Very good location. Parking is offsite but they have a very good program with the local garage that was a 3 minute walk away.

This hotel is conveniently located across from the boat docks and you can easily stroll to numerous restaurants. Book a room with the lake front view for a beautiful view. These rooms are also slightly larger.

This hotel is in a beautiful area on the lake... the people were sweet and breakfast was great... but dont reserve the room by the desk...it was the smallest hotel room we have ever seen...so if it would have been cheaper than $167 for 1 night...then we would have no complaints...but we felt it was too pricey for the size of the room...

Delightful stay in the perfect location. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Fantastic breakfast. Would be happy to recommend. We reserved a "SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM – LAKE VIEW WITH BALCONY" so it had a small "ante" room attached to the bedroom. The ones without that are quite small, so just be aware. Lovely all the way around.

The Hotel was lovely and so was the staff. The Hotel is right next to the lake. We had a little balcony in our room. The breakfast was amazing. I would stay there again!

Locarno is not a car friendly town but hotel has 3 parking spaces for guests to use. Need to park in public parking to check in then find their spaces. Hotel is central and close to everything so once there all is good.

A charming hotel that is run with a family like attitude that cares. The first night my family stayed in the Penthouse, which the AC was hardly working. Our 2nd night we stayed in another room that proved the AC worked and the decor was done in a very charming manner. I'd recommend this hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel, excellent location, but promote parking and only have 2 spaces at hote so we had to go to a public parking and pay 20 francs

I loved my stay..such a comfortable bed with pllowsa you sink into Slept so well. Breakfast too easy help yourself to what ever you wanted , fresh and delicious. Receptionist fantastic.

I very much enjoyed my short stay here. The hotel is conveniently located for the station and buses - as well as being near to the lake. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good, typical continental breakfast (with a very tasty bircher museli). It served to you rather than a buffet, but I believe this was due to covid considerations. My room was very clean, warm and pleasantly decorated.

Welcoming Hotel with many plus points.
Spacious rooms made this trip a very positive experience. The staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was exceptionally generous. Location and proximity to the lake and commercial districts appreciably noted. Will be returning to this establishment. Highly recommended!

Lakeside at Locarno
I had stayed at the Hotel Millennium on a previous occasion and I had looked forward to returning. I was not disappointed. This is a small hotel with a friendly, homely atmosphere and an enviable location close to the centre of the town and the station, across the road from the lake and ferries, and with a variety of good eating places close by . The origins of the building mean that some rooms are quite small, so some care should be taken in selecting a room when a choice is possible I had single occupancy in a double room. The room itself was comfortable and attractively furnished and the area available had been well utilised and more than adequate for one person, but a couple might have found the circulation space and wardrobe facilities inadequate, especially if staying for more than one night. The welcome on arrival was warm, the room quiet and the breakfast excellent I could probably have found a cheaper room elsewhere but the hotel's perfect location is certainly worth a small price premium. I hope to stay here again.

The little blue wonder
Wonderful experience. The owners/management/staff was very friendly.The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Breakfast buffet was fantastic! Perfect location for train, boat or walk to town.

At leisure by the lake
The lake is the reason for staying in Locarno and with this hotel you just have to cross the road and you are there. Excellent position close to station, buses. boat departure point and a variety of good restaurants. A friendly welcome at reception set the tone for my three night stay. The hotel has a jazz theme and rooms are simple but characterful. Breakfast quality good. I hope to stay here again.

Comfortable hotel close to everything
This is such a nice hotel. It's quite small but has everything you could want and its close to the lake, the railway station and the centre of town. The staff are professional but extremely friendly and helpful, not to mention multi-lingual. My room was spacious and comfortable. I've been travelling for a month and this is the best hotel I've stayed in.

Hotel is situated with the lake to the front, brilliant views. Couldn't have been better. Clean and well kept. Staff helpful, breakfast good. Our room a little on the small side, fine for a couple of nights, Plenty of places to eat nearby. Locarno is lovely.

Relaxing time in Locarno
The hotel was located right across the lake and about a block from the train station. The room was somewhat small but very clean and had everything we needed. The free breakfast offered many choices. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer. We would definitely book this hotel again if we come back to this area.

Hotel is in a good location near water and train station. Required maintenance. Glass sHower door fell on me while taking a shower. Told others also do this! Coat hook fell off wall. TV didn't work properly and was also told this happens with other TV's. Has been renovated but needs maintenance. Staff all nice.

Loved our stay at the Hotel Garni Millenium! Very convenient location to everything. Loved being right on the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful with advice on local restaurants and places to visit and supplying information etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return to this hotel.

Small room, great staff and location
The room itself was small but perfectly formed (we were staying in one of the less expensive rooms - 'Chet Baker') and the location was perfect for us as we were catching a morning ferry that left from Locarno's ferry port, right outside the door of the hotel. The lady who was running things was very warm and friendly. Her English was limited but she had a good go, and explained that she was fluent in 3 other languages! She was very accommodating when we needed to use the hotel's iron, and nothing was too much trouble. You could tell she would go out of her way to be helpful to guests. We were celebrating a special occasion and found a mini bottle of prosecco and a note in our room congratulating us, which was a lovely touch. There was a radio with CD player in the room, and I thought it would have been nice if they extended the jazz theme and put a Chet Baker CD in it to match the room's name. Breakfast is nice but limited - nothing cooked available except some boiled eggs. Decor is a little tired but everything was clean and of a decent quality. There is some external noise in the evenings but the hotel is in the centre of town so it was nothing unexpected. Service was top notch. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay there again.
