Nice stay in Ascona
Excellent location. Great view on the lake from the room. Rooms are a little bit outdated, but in good condition. The property is well kept and maintained.

My husband and I traveled from the United States, and staying here was a wonderful experience for both of us! Check-in was easy even with COVID-restrictions. All of the employees were very helpful, and even helped us find directions for our evening plans and COVID testing information. Lovely atmosphere along the water, and the view was incredible! Would love to stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Switzerland.

We were very happy with this hotel--the rooms are basic, but clean. The staff is VERY helpful, and the locatoin can't be beat!!

Cannot imagine a better spot in Ascona! WIL go back. Excellent price for location
Cannot find a single negative aspect here. Great location on the waterfront that is car free, view on the lake is exceptional. Adjoining restaurant is excellent. It may still be Swiss but you are in Italy! You must walk this small town to realy see it. Cars are useless here. We stayed two days in early November 2011 and even if there was rain, we enjoyed every second. Staff speak at least four languages and has class and charm that are not made up! We were elated!

Die Lage ist natürlich Traumhaft. Allerdings ist die auf der Promenade stattfindenden Gespräche von Passanten, Musik der Restaurants usw zu hören. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und spartanisch eingerichtet und klein.

Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage direkt am See. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein mit keinem Komfort. Sehr Geräusch intensive Hörbarkeit im Gang wie in allen Zimmer. Matratzen sind schon etwas durchgelegen. Die Badzimmertüre ist eine Schiebetüre macht Lärm und das Badzimmer ist so klein dass nur eine Person platz findet. Der Föhn ist aus den letzten 10-15Jahren. Im Zimmer hat es keinen Safe und auch keinen Kühlschrank. Sehr spartanisch eingerichtet für diesen Preis. Das Restaurant und das Essen war gut aber auch trotz der 10% Rabatt als Gast noch zu teuer. Keine Parkplätze muss auf die öffentlichen ausweichen. Alles in allem ok aber es gibt bessere Unterkünfte für nur wenig höhere Kosten.

Hotel mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre, die Fensterläden funktionieren tatsächlich sehr gut, so lässt sich das Zimmer verdunkeln. Ab 6:00 Uhr morgens ein bisschen Lärm von der Straße, Fenster schließen! Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Außergewöhnlich nettes Personal, super Lage. Wir kommen wieder!

Bummeln durch die gepflegten Altstadtgassen oder der Seepromenade entlang, wandern in der nahen Umgebung oder eine Fahrt mit dem Schiff auf dem See ... Ascona ist immer wieder einfach super für einen kurzen oder längeren Aufenthalt!

Charmantes aber hellhöriges Hotel
Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Das Servicepersonal ist kompetent, überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist ok. Jedoch war das Bad viel zu eng. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist so wie es sein sollte. Sehr nachteilhaft ist jedoch die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Man hört alles, was die Zimmernachbarn machen. Es sollte besser isoliert sein und die Zimmervorhänge sollte man zuziehen können (Abdunkelung --> guter Schlaf!)

Ascona ist wirklich die Perle am Lago Maggiore
Traumhafter Aufenthalt in der "ersten Reihe" zum See in der Altstadt von Ascona. Dolce far niente im Tessin - und das Hotel ist Teil dieser wunderschönen Seepromenade. Klein aber fein (Zimmer in 1. Stock mit Seeblick); wenn möglich den 2. oder 3. Stock buchen, da gibt's dann auch einen Balkon zur wunderschönen Aussicht auf den See.

Einfaches Hotel an guter Lage
Ascona ist teuer und das widerspiegelt sich in den Hotelpreisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber gut. Das Zimmer nicht sehr gross, aber für eine Nacht ebenfalls OK.
