Everything was great. The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. I got this room very last minute after an UGA game. I arrived 5 minutes after making my reservation online on my phone. Everything went smooth.

We had two nights stay at Holiday express for some RNR before we continued the last two weeks of our USA 6 week holiday. Location was lovely and peaceful...would definitely recommend this place for comfort,service,food.

Hairy sheets

Was very happy, and liked the room till we went to hop into the bed and found it full of hair. It appeared the sheets were washed as the black hair had worked its way into the fabric enough it couldnt easily been wiped off. The maids should have seen this and not placed these sheets into service. this is not acceptable at all!

Great room

Pros: Room appointments, nice staff.
Cons: Room 100 adjacent to constant noise, see above comment.
Location: Downtown Madison, antique store, restaurants.
Waited about an hour past check-in time to get room. Room 100 which we stayed in was adjacent to elevator, heard bell repeatedly, also adjacent to ice machine, noisy in early morning as hotel guest/s dispensed multiple containers of ice.

Would stay here again

This was a last minute booking for us. The price was a little higher than we wanted to pay. It was a really nice hotel. The lady at the front desk was nice. The rooms were nice. We booked two rooms for our group. The beds were a little too firm for my taste, but I did sleep pretty good regardless. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was great. They had a pancake maker, which was kind of cool. I loved the coffee. They offered flavored creamers too. My only complaint is when we arrived, tiny white bugs were flying all around us as we were unloading our car. We arrived at night time. They were not there in the morning when we left. The front desk lady said she had no idea what they were nor had seen them herself.

My stay was great. The only thing I didn't like was my toilet backed up and I was given a plunger. As a guest I shouldn't have to plunge the toilet.

Overall just okay

A very nice, clean hotel. Lobby is beautiful. Front desk staff very friendly. When we arrived in our room, it smelled very fresh and clean. Room service was horrible. We were there for four days, the bed was only made once. Didn't replace coffee and condiments. Brought fresh towels, but didn't remove used towels.

We came for a surprise party... It was a very clean and nice hotel ...close to food&stores....all staff were very friendly and helpful
