Few Days in AdirondacksPosted Jun 3, 2017
Pros: Quiet, safe, close to all day trips planned. No lobby breakfast, but who wants that!? Show your room key to get discount at restaurant next door!
Cons: Ceramic coffee cups in room.
Location: We toured the Wild Center, High Falls Gorge where we got some great pictures, then on to the Adirondack Museum.
This Best Western worked out great. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Used the pool every night, wonderful, relaxing! Food at restaurant next door was great. Thanks for a great stay.

Very questionable room assignments and design.Posted May 23, 2017
We were staying on the first floor in a room that had one of those really perplexing doors that opens up to the room next to it. The hotel was way below capacity judging from the amount of cars in the parking lot (about 5 in total). Flash forward to about 1:30 AM as we were awakened to the sound of the guests next to us trying to open the door between rooms, multiple times. The attempts to open the door stopped and gave way to the guests constant conversation until around 3:00 AM. The talking didn't really sound as if it was meant be loud. It is just that this room configuration proved to be absolutely transparent when it comes to sound. I am all for live and let live, so I wasn't going to be that guy who complains to unknown guests who were, judging by the unwantedly easy and clear assessment of their state of mind, not interested in hearing a complaint about their normal-volume conversation, and all this in a bleary-eyed state, in my pajamas in the middle of the night. The main problem with this situation is why would a hotel, with such a low level of occupancy, place two late-night arrivals directly next to us when anyone could see that this room configuration is a good fit. Explaining the situation at checkout the next morning simply brought questions that seemed to suggest that the staff would have preferred I confront the guests about the events as no real help was offered. Needless to say that night brought some unneeded stress to a weekend meant to be relaxing.

clean and cozyPosted May 15, 2017
Pros: Great location and nice accomodations.
Location: great for boating, hiking and close to the mountains, Plattsburgh, Montreal, and Vermont. Beautiful location.
It was just a quick stay. Room was clean and staff was friendly. I like the Kerig in the room and there was enough cream and sugar.

The hotel was fine but not as described by Hotels.com. I will not trust Hotels.com again.
