Older Resort town property

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Location was fantastic!
Cons: The property needs to be updated. The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible.
Location: Location is one block off a great little shopping area. Near the gondola, shopping, food, and casinos. Great, great location!
If you have stayed in a few resort towns, you will know what I am talking about. Caters to tons of folks who want to stay cheap. It is an older resort town property that needs updating for sure. However with that said, if you know what to expect, you will be fine with it. You are not going to get an updated room. You will get clean, you will get amazing location, and you will get nice enough. It has significant cheesy factor, with the outdated motif, however it was clean, good sized rooms, and dog friendly. We were able to walk to almost everything and convenience was worth a little older and dated. One thing that sucked was the continental breakfast. Looked like someone swung by the grocery store on their way to work and forgot a lot of stuff. Mostly there were bagels, cereal, and oatmeal. Only butter to put on your bagel. No cream cheese and no peanut butter. We ate out every day which wasn't part of the plan, but nothing was appetizing. We travel a lot and have seen plenty of continental breakfasts that were limited, and this was toward the bottom of the list for us. Overall, we knew we were getting cheesy and we felt the price was fine, especially to have our dog along. So we were prepared for it to be lower quality. We were pleasantly surprised with the great location, and that left us feeling like we got a solid value for the money. We recommend it with the caveat that keep expectations low to moderate and you will feel like you got a solid deal.

Close distance to Lake/Casinos

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: The swimming pool was nice and warm compared to the cold lake.
Cons: When checking in the people could give you info. on what is around there like restaurants, entertainment, family friendly events, sight seeing tips.
Location: close proximity walking distance to lake/casinos/shopping.
The hotel was o.k. it could use updating sinks/faucets, bedding, wall paper, flooring/carpet. It was close to the lake/casinos walking distance.

It was a nice place for the price. Only negative thing was that we could hear the pluming noises whenever someone in a different room took a shower or flushed the toilet.

Great for a budget motel. Love the location. If you're out exploring Tahoe for all its worth, the beauty of your bed and bathroom shouldn't be too critical anyway. Would return, for sure.

short distance to the Lake Tahoe village

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: walking distance and cost effective
Cons: open up additional parking spaces if possible within its grounds. They need to vacuum behind tables, cabinets. Add curtains.
Location: Great location! You are technically near the center.
Biggest plus aside from cost compared to other hotels is a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the center of the Lake Tahoe village and Gondola. There are 2 floors and all rooms surround the main parking structure. Our room was on the 1st floor near the back corner. Out dated look, but you have the basics: 32 inch flat screen tv (bad sound), microwave, mini fridge, safe. About noise level: adjacent room walls are decent (meaning we hardly hear anything next door neighbors (or maybe bec they are quiet)). Most of the noise we hear are anything near the window/door/parking. People talk directly outside of your window and you can hear them clearly. Turn on your AC/Heat to block out people walking/talking around the facility. There are no curtains just blinds for privacy. Don't look behind the tables/cabinets, they are filthy dirty and build dust over the years. Carpet is out-dated, wear sandals around.. Limited parking space. It gets packed quite fast since the place is always filled. There are a few open spots in the back in case you come in late but those also fill up. You better be back in the hotel before 9p to get the last spot.

Hotel situato a poche centinaia di metri dal lago Tahoe, personale molto gentile e colazione nella media.
