Well I enjoyed the hotel it was in a great location I can actually see the lake from my hotel room the only problem is I had to go across to the other hotel to find a restaurant that wasn't very cool

Do not pay more for Premium roomsPosted Aug 26, 2015
I was very disappointed by paying more for a premium room. What have I gained from it? Basically nothing. I just don't know what Premium room would be more upgrade from Deluxe room. No view, no refrigerator, not even a coffee maker.

Great location. Close to everything.Posted Aug 19, 2015
We had a beautiful room view. There was a corner window with a view of the lake, the pool, and the heavenly shopping area. Loved the seperate bathtub/ shower. Although the shower head could use updating. The bed was really comfortable.

Not stay there againPosted Aug 16, 2015
You can hear all conversations to rooms and hallway Windows do not open up in room The shower drain was clogged so while in the shower the tub is filled up! The resort fee not worth it the pool is tiny and hot tub ewww. The hotel is close to the lake which is nice. The 19th kitchen restaurant is excellent though We would dine there again.

Harvey's hates ExpediaPosted Aug 13, 2015
If you book through Expedia be prepared not to get the accommodations you thought you'd paid for even in this dump of a hotel. The rooms are poorly maintained no room service and the restaurants are awful

It's an old building and it shows.Posted Aug 11, 2015
The building is okay to stay in for one night, but inside smells of an old casino - smoke, old carpets, a little dingy.

Beautiful Hotel- Great ConcertPosted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Beautiful, high scale.
Cons: Beds aren't super comfortable. But not absolutely terrible either.
Location: The concert venue being in the hotel (basically) was the best aspect.
I bought this stay for my parents for an anniversary gift to go see Jackson Browne. They loved it and are already looking forward to their next trip to Tahoe. Money well spent.

Spacious clean roomPosted Aug 9, 2015
Pros: Room was clean and quite large. The shower and tub were both big and clean
Location: We enjoyed McP's Taproom food and many, many beers to choose. We also love Heidi's for a fabulous breakfast.
We spent our honeymoon at Harvey's and we came back to celebrate our 20 year anniversary! We loved the large, clean room and the hotels location. We walked to the many great shops and there are a lot of great restaurants across the street. We are used to beautiful beaches living near Carmel and Big Sur, but took a short drive to Nevada State Beach and were awestruck by its calm and beauty! We want to go back with the kids to enjoy the lake again. Although we did not like the smoky casino, Harvey's proximity to shopping, activities and the lake itself make it a decent place to stay at Tahoe.
