excellent hotel next to the lifts.Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: the location, and place for kids to play games for all ages, that was a big plus.
Cons: a location to babysit, so the parent can enjoy one night together, like the casinos.
Location: At the location there was skiing, ice skate, lots of shopping, cafe's. night life lighted-up with outdoor gas fire places to keep with while eating.
everyone was every helpful. even when there shift is over, there still help you out.

Great hotel, close to amenitiesPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. When we have stayed at the casinos there was always a lingering smell of cigarette smoke.
Cons: Nothing from our first experience.
Location: Centrally located for restaurants, shops, gambling and outdoor activities!
Our stay was brief but very enjoyable. We were close to restaurants, shops and activities. The hotel staff from beginning to end we're very friendly. Everyone that we came across said hi and asked how we were doing. Next time we come and stay. I will consider some of the activities at the Retreat.

Cons: Furniture arrangement in living room is not ideal. Need spa available beyond 10PM!
Excellent property. Living room furniture configuration is not ideal but not a deal breaker!

Failure to mention construction activities!Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Proximity to casinos.
Cons: Communication amongst staff and guests.
My wife and I were getting away for 1 night, to enjoy South Lake Tahoe and then be able to sleep in the next morning without kids waking us up. Well, it wasn't kids that woke us up on a Sunday morning, but apparently hotel facilities/engineering had some construction activities that needed to get done... we woke up to what sounded like tapping (from a distant hammer). It was intermittent at best, but continued all morning long. When we checked out, we were not asked "how was your stay" so I had to wait for the opportunity to get the comment in that we didn't realize there were construction activities going on... it was a bit tongue-in-cheek, because I know it wasn't full blown construction. Apparently engineering had failed to mention to the front desk that they were going to be working on some repairs Sunday morning, so none of the front desk staff knew about it. The staff was apologetic at best, but I expected a larger compensation than just "free coffee". So it goes. I won't be staying at that hotel again...

Great hotel with skytram access.Posted Oct 24, 2015
Pros: The ambiance, the friendliness of staff and the location.
Cons: Wi-Fi access code should be in the room. You must swipe your room card to operate the elevator- paint on sign was worn off. Needs a redo.
Location: Close to shops, Harrah's and Harvey's.
My room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchenette was very functional and would have really been great for a longer stay.

PerfectPosted Oct 22, 2015
Tahoe for business, this hotel was perfect. Yoga in the morning and smiling faces every time I entered the property. Room spacious, bed extremely comfortable. The only down side was the room should have cream and sugar when the coffee is supplied for coffee maker.
