very nasty

Cons: everything needs improvement
very bad condition of rooms. Carpets dirty, needs cleaning, painting etc

not recommending to anyone

Pros: Nothing It was just disgusting
Cons: Everything needs a lot of improvement.
Location: location is very nice
Rooms carpet was very dirty, doors will not close As we spent the 1st day we reported to the reception the its hard to close the door, in reply the said we r not doing anything because in June we r renovating. The next day we were in the room and as soon as we were leaving tried to open the door the whole door lock broke and came in our hand. Left us locked in our room. after calling reception for us being locked in they changed our room giving us the same excuse that nothing we can do because the renovation will be done in June. The room that we were shifted into was a little better than the first one but still the carpet were dirty, the shower was not clean etc... Very terrible experience. Never going back to this motel ever. Even locating the motel was very difficult too. The name say on our book is Stateline Economy Inn & Suites but the motel has a logo that only says Economy Inn.

Needed a ace to rest

Was in Tahoe, spent most the time at the casinos and the Lucky Beaver Bar. Hotel did its job. Check in was easy and room was comfortable and clean. This isn't the best hotel ever, but definitely worth the price and I will be back(this was my 3rd stay at this hotel)

Cons: i don ot care improve or not, i will never ever go back to this hotel.

I go to to South lake thaoe lots and had stayed all kind of hotels, casino hotel to low budget hotel but this is my worst experince so far. Since, it was last minute booking and weekend i had paid very bad price for this ugly hotel. i did not had much expection , since it is low budget kind hotel. First of all; they have just limited parking beware ! when you go there on busy day. too dirty carpet you feel like vomating. i had found similar hotel, on that area cheaper than this hotel but picked this one because it says free breakfast. we went for breakfast around 8:30 am, we saw just chocolate donuts, sprinkle donuts, chocklate ceral & apple, not even plain donut,no bread nothing when i asked, the front desk person who clamed she is a owner, rudely replied yes, we have all sugary stuff, everybody likes sweet things. nobody wants dieting here, then she asked us, "aren't you guys are four people?'. Actually we were just husband & wife, we don't know what made her to think we were four people. She was like we paid for 2 peple & staying 4 people. We felt so humlating, We had vacation mood & wanted to enjoy our day, so we did not argue with her, we left with out eating breakfast. i had paid $110 for that night but did not felt worth it. never going back again and do not recomend this hotel at all.

Spend more on your vacation and enjoy the outdoors

Pros: The price
Cons: maybe a more modern or updated look
Location: Stateline Brewery a must stop!
If you want to spend more on your vacation activities and less on where you sleep, this place is for you. Walking distance to all the best shops, bars, restaurants, and casinos. Even in bad weather your just a short distance to a cold beer or a warm meal. Keep in mind this is travel on a budget as far as rooms go, but the staff is helpful and friendly.

Room was very dirty, towels were not clean and had make up stains and other stains inside when you unfold the towels. Many of our towels did not appear to be washed at all. Shower, floors and sink were not clean. Phone didn't work and light fixture was not secure. Mattress was stained and burned marks. The lady in the office was very nice but the motel was in desperate need of cleaning and maintenence.

Bed Bugs

Cons: higiene
Location: super close to Heavenly Main Gondola
Hotel location is really good. Price in hi visited weekend was really good too, but I was very disappointed when I found a Bed Bug. We got upgraded to the 3rd floor and all was good there, but it was a very disgusting experience to be honest.

Cheap hotel, you get what you pay for

We could check in at around 11:30pm with no hassles. The room was clean on a quick look. However, the blanket had stains on it. The bathroom door didn't lock and its floor was messy. The water from the shower had needle like flow and it stung, it was hard to take a shower. The room's door had a gap under it, which meant there was a small flow of cold air coming from the outside. We had to stay for a single night, just a few hours and leave to ski early in the morning, so it was acceptable. I wouldn't stay there for more than 1 night.

Nice to be close to Heavenly Gondola

Out of ten days they clean my room 5 times only despite me asking them. Last day asked for a late check out since my plane was for 1940 and they wanted to charge a full day fee for a 1400 checkout. I refused and was forced to leave before 1200 despite bad service.
