Even though there was a heat pump needed extra blankets as was quite chilly in the rooms, was noce and tidy though and loved the stay. Would definately be back.

Beautiful grounds, cool bounce pad. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only downside was the heating was off and no remote for heat pump woke up at 3am very cold

Our family loved the pools, spent most of our 4 days just playing in the pools and enjoying some family time. The Lakes Villa was well equipped to cater for our needs and the air-conditioning was amazing on the warm nights. We will be making this our family vacation spot from now on!

Unit itself was in good condition and clean. Disabled shower did flood bathroom though. Thermal pools a little dated and only small discount for being half closed for renovation. Main disappointment was staff not contacting me to let me know a couple of shirts were left behind. It took me afew days to work out hey were missing and even then my emails were never responded to. Nearly a week went before I eventually called them and they said yes they had shirts. But they could have contacted me the day we checked out and they found them. Mailing process is difficult especially when our accommodation address keeps changing as we travel.

I loved the room setup and the yard oustide for the kids. We didnt have any dishwashing powder or liquid, we had a plunger but no plunger coffee and it wasn't very clean when we checked in. It was an awesome property though and will definitely return but perhaps with our own coffee and dishwashing materials.

Do not book this “spa resort”! Nasty hair on the floor and pillows. Dishes were not clean. No WiFi even though they say it works. Zero view of the lake and we got to watch staff members smoke.

Usually we stay in a villa but there were none available, so booked a cabin for 2 nights. Usually we have a great experience (for which we gave 5 stars) but this time even the cabin wasn’t vacuumed prior to our check-in. My baby plays on the floor so that wasn’t a great start. We had the service requested sign out the next day but came back to only towels having been dropped off and that’s it, again, not even a vacuum or empty of bin in room (having a baby with us, this wasn’t ideal). Beds weren’t made also. I couldn’t find anything in our booking to say there is no service available in these rooms so if that’s the case, maybe it should be included in the booking info for cabins. There was also a party in a large marquee just outside our room. Would have been great to get a heads up about that from the accommodation (ie. we had a baby with us). Aside from that, they said reception is open until 8.30pm, we got there 5 or 10 minutes prior and it had been closed for awhile as lights were off and nobody around. Just something to note if you are hoping to catch them and running close to time. They did stick a note to the door for us with instructions. Overall just wasn’t a great experience this time around unfortunately.

We stayed in an ensuite cabin with our children, x2 boys who are 9 and 11 years. They slept in a set of three bunk beds and whilst no one was on the top bunk they had plenty of room in the two bunks below. Kitchen facilities were great with a full oven and full fridge. Great proximity to all of the facilities and great discount for guests staying at De Brett’s to use the hot pools. A lovely time.

Spacious room, absolute no utensils in the common kitchen. The marketing material shows access to multiple swimming pools, slides etc NO Mention of extra charges per day for the “separate” facility NOT part of the Resort. Unless the extra charges appear at the time of the booking, it’s false advertising, a family of 4 can upgrade the accomodation elsewhere instead paying a fee per day to access a pool.
