What they call a handicapable room is a joke, i had to move furniture just to get my husband in the bathroom. The desk chair i sat in was not fixed properly because when i sat down in it one of the rollers came off and i ended up in the floor on my right knee which just had a total knee replacement a few months ago and it is very sore this morning so i hope it did no damage to it. I did take pictures of the chair and left the hotel a note saying what happened. I also took a pucture of note i left with them at the front desk upon checkout.

I loved the staff first and foremost. I wish I would'vegotten the two ladies names so I can recognize them. It was quiet on the 2nd floor. The pool was open for the kiddos from 8am to 11pm. The jacuzzi water was pretty dirty and the jets weren't doing much, but we didnt go for the hot tub, just the pool. The free breakfast options were AWESOME! Everything in the room was clean except 2 saucer plates in the cabinets. The beds are super comfy. Overall, with the kids, it was a good stay. 👍

Was clean and staff was very friendly but when we walked into room it had an odor. Wife said it smelled like bleach and we figured since it was next to the laundry area and across from the pool it was a combination of bleach and chlorine. King size bed was well worn as you could see the indents of where people slept. Also had the rod that holds the shower head fall off the wall, not even in the bathroom when this happened. Overall nice place just needs some updating and minor maintenance.

I’m traveling the country with my young daughters “Roadschooling”. The last month we’ve been from New Mexico to Louisiana and everywhere in between. I specifically booked this place for the indoor heated pool and hot tub for them to finally swim before heading home for the holidays. Upon check in I asked about the functionality of the pool and was pleased to hear it was in perfect working order. When we entered the pool area a woman in the pool asked if we were hotel guests I told her yes, she then told me she was going to be on one side of the pool (giving swim lessons) I was upset being that this was literally the only reason we booked here. My daughters are not great swimmers and we’re told to stay on the deep end. I went to the front desk and let them know, i basically told she didn’t see the problem and they’ve never had complaints before and literally that was that. I called best western to address my issue, not looking for compensation or refund but just to make them aware. We went up to the room after 15 mins and 6 other children arriving for lessons only to be called to the room phone from the general manager yelling at me for her points being deducted and bad review I tried to explain that I was not happy, she would not let me speak she kept talking over me and was the most passive aggressive woman I’ve ever come in contact with. She 100 percent needs to be fired. And should not ever be able to work in the customer service industry again. I will never stay again.

A bit rundown
The staff were helpful and they had a good breakfast selection. I appreciated that the pool was heated nicely but the hot tub was quite dirty and the jets are not functional. They were having roofing work done while we were there but there was a lot of concerning maintenance that made it feel unsafe. For example, water was consistently leaking from a ceiling lighting fixture. Glad we only spent one night.

Afternoon/night staff was exceptional in service and personality. Room was clean and well appointed. Problem, even with manager's personal trial, the TV wouldn't work. The in-room phone also didn't work. Table lamp connection loose, so the light flickered some. AC/heater until worked brilliantly. Comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Great Texas shaped waffles! At check out, the manager couldn't access the computer system, so we got no check-out receipt, nor could/would she offer us a discount for the non-working TV. Property has EV charging slots, if you're into that.

Me and my wife traveled to Waco cause she had a surgery planned at hilcrest at around 11am we didn’t wanna have to get up and drive in wanted to be able to sleep in and at 7 am we was awoken up to beating and banging coming from the roof I called the front desk to make sure they wasn’t being robbed but it was actually a construction crew putting a new roof on so they failed to mention this at check in and put us on the very top floor closet to the roof I asked for a refund went on deaf ears won’t be staying here again and we frequently come to Waco and rent hotels here the staff could’ve told me at check in and I would’ve made different arrangements if I pay money for a hotel room I deserve my privacy and relaxation till check out time I paid for it and didn’t receive it so best western you suck

Stayed for one night. Everything was amazing, and the front desk ladies were nice. They even had a good looking breakfast, but I was in a rush. Gave it 3 out of 5 stars. The complaints I have was the room. The TV channels sucked and didn’t work. (Had to use my Laptop), also the shower-head needed to be replaced. A lot I water leaked downward so showering was a challenge. Room #211

Overall this property was good. It was quiet, clean and just what we needed. I was disappointed by the staff on Friday night. When we checked in I specifically asked how late the pool would be open. She said 11. We had some plans that evening but made sure we made it back in time to relax in the hot tub before bed. Upon arriving back, we changed and went down to the pool area and the lights were off. When we asked if they could be turned back on, we were told that they had put chemicals in the pool and it was closed. This was disappointing as we modified our plans to be sure to be back in time to swim. It seemed the staff wasn’t truthful and she just wanted to close it for the night. We booked this hotel for the opportunity to be able to swim on our weekend getaway after the craziness of the day and we didn’t get that opportunity. We also gave the staff a separate card to charge vs the one we booked with. She took the card, added it on file, but they still charged the other card. A really big inconvenience now that we have to wait for that charge to fall off. The staff could benefit from more attention to detail overall.

The room was filthy, I finally found a chain that make motel6 look good.Can tell most of their business comes from construction crews staying there. The bathroom was filthy and needed to be cleaned, the common area was worse.Came time to go to bed and pulled the sheets back and they had blood on them, so they had not been cleaned
