Disappointing

The hotel is hard to find. The room wreaked of fragrance to the point of giving me a headache. There was a folded towel with makeup and hair on it. A partial bottle of tea in the refrigerator. Bathroom needs repair. Shower door won't slide, grout missing on floor, etc. Breakfast was not appealing. Coffee is not fresh brewed.

Hidden fees

I have no issues with the room or the staff. Theresa was great and the room was clean, breakfast was ok, it was what I expected. The issue I have is that when I book a room on here and hit pay later, I expect to pay when I arrive at the room. The card I used to secure the room was charged. There is also a $100 deposit. Thank goodness I called and was told it's easier to pay with cash to get this back quicker. I saw other guests arguing about this. They should let you know upfront about how you will be charged, I would have been upset had I not called. I have never had to pay upfront like this when I click pay later... so not cool!

Very nice room and a full warm breakfast and the price was outstanding. I've paid more for hotels that are not even half as nice. Definitely the place to stay if you're in LAKELAND.

Animal haters

They wouldn't let us check in due to pet. And had the nerve to keep our money! They could of at least charged a security for pet but no... just turned us away. With no where else to go!
