Convience.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Location: We only used this as a base to visit with family in nursing home in small city nearby.
Check in was quick and staff were very personable, pleasant. Some of staff were not knowledgeable about Catholic churches in the area, but did look up online while we waited for the info. We were told when we checked in that our room would be completely cleaned, linens on bed changed and new towels on Monday-so we left early and were gone all day. Upon returning room was still as we left it. We went to front desk and told them & they apologized, made a note to clean on Tuesday and gave us fresh towels. Breakfast was not very good, or plentiful. Coffee was real weak and very scarce at times. Did not replenish items when ran out-many people in small breakfast room at a time-overloading their families on food. Not really fair to other patrons. So, my husband got up early and went to breakfast room and brought back food for us to eat in our room-it was included in our hotel room rate. Good thing their was a Cracker Barrel nearby to get a good breakfast. Very disappointing. Also, stains on furniture in lobby and carpets-not very appealing. Looks great online.

Good stayPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Convenience, breakfast, kitchenette, good room and bed/shower
Cons: Make omelets w/o cheese
Location: restaurants and stores nearby
Good stay. A/C unit had funny smell that irritated the throat a bit. We've stayed here many times and this was first time with this issue. Overall good stay...always good to have kitchenette facility.

Nothing to complain about.Posted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The kitchen, although I didn't cook, but I could have. The refrigerator was large enough for a family. The bed was comfortable.TV and internet.
The hotel was clean, the people friendly, and there was a full kitchen available. The price was moderate and I felt that it gave good value for the price. I would stay there again.

A beautiful step back in time....Posted Sep 24, 2015
Pros: Everything! The design elements are gorgeous and the renovation was well done! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable.
Location: If you love Mexican food that rivals with Mexico, you must try El Toreo restaurant located at 3790 East Silver Springs Road, Ocala, FL 34470.
I travel for business and stay in a variety of hotels. When I saw the photos online for this hotel and read the comments, I was impressed and took a chance. The King size bed room that I booked beat every expectation I could have had. The room was gorgeous and super clean. The furnishings are top of the line and superiorly designed. The toiletries were outstanding and I didn't even use my own. The staff is excellent and the bed slept like a dream. The bathroom had the original tile which was perfect! Such a quaint homey place to stay instead of the standard hotel room. I will be stay here everytime I am in town.

Pros: As above.
Cons: Can't think of anything important.
Location: As above.
Not a conventional hotel room , but fully equipped apartments/suites , including kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, etc.....clean and comfortable, right next to I-4 with rapid access to Lakeland , restaurants, shopping, etc....for a reasonable price.

Great location in LakelandPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: The location was great. It's close to I-4 and all major roadways.
Cons: Having conditioner in the bathroom would be nice.
Location: There is a Wendy's on the corner. There is a Cracker Barrel very close to the hotel.
The hotel was better than anticipated. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was super easy and fast. Breakfast had alot of options such as biscuits and gravy, waffles with strawberries, egg omelets with sausage, cereal, bagels, coffee, tea and juice. I think the hotel is a great option considering the choices in Lakeland. The shower was excellent with awesome water pressure. I did not want to get out of the shower, it felt that good!! It was a good value for the money, and very affordably priced.

Nice if you are a smokerPosted Sep 7, 2015
We booked a room with 2 queen beds. Family of 4. The first 2 rooms we were offered smelled so bad (cigarette smoke) that we couldn't stay. We were told all that was left was a king with sofa bed. We finally got a room that didn't stink. Getting ready for bed and pulled out the sofabed we realized that there weren't any sheets or pillows. We called the front desk to ask where they were and she told us we had to come down to get them....really???? You saw the family of 4 go up to a room with a sofabed knowing that we would need the sheets and pillows. No blanket available either. Let's add that the toilet is leaking at the base. Not even worth reporting to Ms. Helpful. This place has potential to be nice, but staff is less than helpful and guests are obviously allowed to smoke on the 4th floor. Pass on this hotel...there are plenty around which have to be better than this.
