Very Kid Friendly

Location: LEGOLAND- GOLDEN CORRAL
The hotel itself is really nice. They have a kids area, a movie theater, an XBox room. The pool area is wonderful. Plenty of comfortable seating in sun and shade. My boys loved that the pool is 12ft deep and they could dive. Our room was upgraded by the hotel upon our arrival. The room was spectacular. A large suite with kitchen, living room, bedroom, hot tub in separate room and nice big bathroom. Then the other stuff came to light- we were looking for the pull out section of the couch and found a hair extension. There were ant traps on the sides of the hot tub. The other stuff is preferential such as the living room was very dark- no lamps. The bed was positioned in the bedroom so that the post of the bed blocked the view of the TV. The bed was VERY high. The staff was AWESOME though. I did provide a list of this to the front desk person upon check out- she was very apologetic- Thanked me for the list and said they'd address the issues. I'd recommend this hotel to families- it is very close to Lego Land- actually within walking distance. Golden Corral right across the street although they do have a bar and restaurant in the hotel that serves all meals.

Decent hotel for the price!

Hotel overall was good for the price. The rooms have old furniture but was clean and no holes in anything. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We actual had a two day pass to Legoland and we walked there both days with our five year old who not once complained about the walk. The walk was about a mile. Could be a really nice hotel if the owner willing to do some renovation and make the furnishings more up to date. The game room need a makeover. Most of the games were broken. They had a theater room but I didn't use that. My husband took a look around in the theater room and said it appeared to be pretty nice. If you're just looking for a plain hotel with nothing fancy and close to Legoland, this is a place to stay.

No WIFI

Room next door had a party until 12am. No WIFI Which they should have told me at check in because I needed wifi

Disgusting filthy no fire alarms mold

The most disgusting hotel ever had a fire Saturday night no alarms went off no security to alert no staff to direct or assist with moving could not get our belongings till morning filthy mold everywhere

Hotel for our vacation to legoland

We were 'upgraded' to the tower due to us calling out the things they had as cons in their prior reviews. When we got there, everything was painted but still had a stale smell, old spring mattresses, bathroom had moldy grout and bathtub had a half job on the resurfacing. This was not an upgrade as everything was still outdated and jobs half done. No bugs fortunately. Even half the games in the arcade were out of service.

Horrible

Pros: absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything New beds new bedding clean it better and invest in an AC that works
AC was broken was sent to Howard Johnson had to wait over 1 hour just for payment to be handled kids were frustrated after sitting in the hot lobby of Shergill Grand Hotel for 45 mins just waiting for them to give us a paper to take to Howard Johnson another hour once we got there was told AC would be fixed next day went in Am checked back in when we came from LEGOLAND AC still not working could not sleep finally at 11:00 I told them it was not go for my daughter and Nephew 13 & 7 years old sent us back to howard Johnson rooms smelled and beds very hard and sheets felt very sticky over all just bad Never again

Dirty, Bugs, rundown.

This was the dirtiest Hotel I have stayed at ever. Live bugs all over the bed. The rooms were dirty everywhere you looked. I thought I was on an episode of Hotel Nightmare. Also even though I found the same room cheaper that day the front desk denied it when Hotels .com called. So add liars to the list of awful.They did offer to change one of my two rooms but I was afraid of what the other one would look like. I just lost my son and this trip was planned with my daughter and her family. It made an already sad situation sadder. The only good thing was the location to Lego Land our destination. However, there is no excuse for rooms to be this filthy. I have pictures to back it up. Even video of the live bugs on the beds. Front desk did not seem surprised at all.There were no other hotels near that we could afford and were all exhausted but oh my.Hotels.com tried to help out but there is only so much they can do. I do not blame them. This manager should be ashamed. I have called the health department in that area. By the way I got sick and am on antibiotics as we speak. Not even a week back.
