went in with low standards

the girl at check in told us they didn't have a gym..they did. the shower had mold around the bottom rim and shower knob. tub and sink were cracked. tub had mold too. rest of room was ok. there was a white powder on the floor which says they didn't vacuum at all before or while we weer there.

Pros: The locations of the resort is absolutely goergeous.
Cons: Better room cleaning and airing.
We stayed or 2 nights, Day one was great. On the second day our room did not get cleaned until almost dinner time. As we were leaning I got my hand cut on a big wire sticking out of the couch that was in the room. When I tried calling the main office there was no response for 20 minutes. I stopped by the lobby to check out and request a bandaid and ointment. The receptionist had to use her own neosporin. There was no apology form management and no call. I would never go back to a place that shows such little regard for the wellbeing of their guests.

Romantic getaway

We happened upon this resort on tripasvisor and happy we did. Unfortunately we arrived much later than we wanted so we didn't get to experience all the resort had to offer. However, we got to start our fireplace and get comfortable there and relaxed in a very spacious, open living area. Down a few steps to a large bedroom area with a very comfortable heart shaped bed with "star lighting" available above the bed. Next was a large closet and mini frig. The bathroom was large with heart shaped spa tub and separate shower. The shower was not pleasant at all but that is the ONLY short I felt this resort had. The bathroom also was made pleasant with heart lamps AND heating to make it very pleasing! We will be back. Things we didn't get to do but offered are tennis in/outdoor, night club, restaurant, basketball, pool, and nice walking area.

First time at Cove Haven

Food was great and the staff was really friendly. The room wasnt that clean.

Nice place but more then aged.!!!

The property and outdoor facilities are OK. But rooms totaly aged when we 1st. Enter the room it was smelling humid also same situation in most facilities. Carpets and sofa look too old and dirty. While we were in collesium Restaurant the cutlery set just looks like 2nd.hand tea cups as so old porcalein inside has cracks. Nice lake Side wiev cafe but in two days never seen serving it was closed. Didn’t understand why panaromic place is closed. With a good mangment and renovation property would be excellent.

Nice Change of Pace

This is the first time I came to the resort and me and my partner found the facility to be very hospitable and the other guests friendly. The food was more than adequate and the room was spacious. Would highly consider revisiting in very near future.

Worn out resort

Not a place to take anyone to impress them. Old worn out resort. Furniture out dated bed soggy. Carpet ripped snagged looking in spots . Lamp broke.

Hotel rooms need major updates .the money it cost to stay there and the food cost the money should be towards new carpets,couches,and amenities in the room .

Reception was not friendly.

Am so disappointed with the room there was flies flying in the room they didn't put enough towel in the room .then we didn't let them clean the first two days then the third day they clean ,they only make the bed up and empty the garbage ,the bath room didn't even touch in which surprise me cause the first place should be cleaning is the bathroom .this resort is over price ,the price should be cut in half.the only thing I enjoy is the food and and the people that work in the dinning and breakfast room.
