Romantic Birthday stay

Posted Feb 1, 2016
The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very nice , alittle dated but overall I was very happy. We only encountered one issue which was the starry night thing above the bed didn't work. The all inclusive deal was awesome so I highly recommend this over just the room. I will most likely go back here within the next few months. Very romantic vibe and atmosphere.

Pros: relaxing and a lot to do
Cons: food quality, décor in rooms,
I have been coming here for at least 10 years. My major complaint is that since I booked through expedia they didn't honor my forever lover rewards. It was the same cost as booking directly so I'm not sure why that was such an issue when I have booked this way before and it never was a problem. They also changed there forever lover program and myself being gold they should of honored my status regardless of where I booked. The facility seems to be moving in the right direction they are removing all the old ceasars theme and going more modern and have seemed to listen to a lot of complaints I was reading. The breakfast was great the dinner food quality has definitely decreased and is one area that needs improvement. They also need to continue to make room updates on décor but all in all its a great place, wonderful resort and relaxing.

Thank you for your feedback. We actually offer varying rates on Expedia, so it doesn't match up with what we offer if you book through us, which would explain why the Forever Lover benefits are not applied. We have recently been sold to new owners and have a new management group in place; these owners have committed to putting $12 million into the resorts to make improvements so the overall experience will be even more enjoyable. We truly hope you will be back to enjoy what we have to offer and notice the changes we will be making for the better.

The hotel and facilities itself were nice. The food was good. But for the amount of money you're paying the rooms should be cleaner. We stayed in the most expensive suite and there was a dirty towel in the room's sauna and clumps of hair and pieces of tissue in the pool. We met another couple there who also had a problem with the condition of their room.

Thank you for your feedback- we're happy you had a nice stay but we will be addressing these issues with the suites immediately. This is valuable information for us as we aim to improve the guest experience vastly in all areas.

We're sorry you felt that more things should have been free at the resort; our inclusive packages actually offer quite a few things with your stay. We're sad to see you will not be back.

Dated and In need of updates.

Posted Jan 14, 2016
This place has potential if only their rooms and facilities are updated and taken out of the 1980's.

Thank you for your feedback. Part of the charm of our resorts is the style of the decor, modeled specifically from an era when romance and love were major themes of the decade.

Dumpy $hithole from the 70s - save your money

Posted Jan 3, 2016
I never write reviews for anything, but this place is so terrible, I felt inspired. It reminds me of the old part of Las Vegas - run down, and stuck in the 70s with it's glory years behind it. There is ripped carpet throughout the faculty and the bricks lining the buildings and walkways are falling apart. The bed we had was so worn out that it gave my wife and I back pain and bad sleep, and there's absolutely no privacy between hearing each other's bowel movements and noisy neighbors. Talk about setting the mood for romance ... it felt like we were staying at a glorified cheap motel. The staff, in contrast, were almost all absolutely delightful. With the exception of a rude receptionist, the rest were polite, warm, professional and added a feeling of hospitality to this cheesy tourist trap. My advice is to stay anywhere else - this place is too expensive and run down.

We're sorry you did not enjoy the resort- we understand the romantic vibe of the resort is not for everyone, although we are working to make sure it is kept up and in shape. The winter tends to take a toll on the resort, especially the bricks, but we make sure to replace them when the time comes. Thank you fo ryour feedback.

Got to room no curtains only shades with gaps in it so when people or cars go by you can see them not to mention every step you took them at the room with come down the pool was freezing and we went in the winter time so that didn't help, pool was dirty at bottom our jacuzzi tub look horrible the mirrors what old and outdated just so horrible experience for that type of money

i will go back

Only stayed one night but had a lot of fun. There are a lot of things to do and can vary by time of season. The sauna could really use locker rooms with lockable lockers for your clothes. Overall need a little more upkeep than is currently being done.

Ghost Town

Posted Dec 22, 2015
Pros: All the activities and the beds were extremely comfy! The heart shape tub is great as well, until the water is too hot.
Cons: Just needs to become a little more modern and lively.
Location: Not much... most stuff you need to drive upwards of 45 minutes. That could be advertised a little better than it was.
Definitely not what we were expecting going in to this stay. We obviously knew it was a couples resort and people would be more catered to being with their significant other, but this was rough. We went out trying to mingle the one night and there was only two other couples out. Then upon going to the DJ and comedy show there were a few more couples out, but not many. Felt bad for the DJ who was trying to wake up the dance floor, but the comedian killed it!! I wish I remembered his name off hand, but sadly I cannot... Certainly a great get away to be alone. We found out summer and Valentine's day are more for mingling. Drinks were a little pricey and the food could have been better, but the rooms were great! Bed was extremely comfy and there was enough activities around the campus to keep yourself busy. It'd be cool if they delivered the daily itinerary to your room so you are more aware of the days events because there were a few things we missed since we didn't get the packet in time. Thought that the archery that was advertised would be a little more learning, but it was just pick up and teach yourself. The indoor skating rink was a little lame as well, but we made the most of it. The weather certainly made all of the colder activities harder to fulfill since it was like spring time out there. The biggest disappointment was that a lot of the off campus activities that were advertised were further than expected. Bushkill Falls was a 50 minute drive and we ended

Thank you for your feedback. We actually offer a channel on our televisions that reviews the activities for the day so you can keep up on all things happening. We're sorry it may have been a little less attended when you were here- sometimes guests just enjoy staying in their suites and want private time. However, we can guarantee you when everyone is out and about and we have our busiest times, it is an incredible experience to hang out with others. We hope you will return to experience a full, robust weekend at the resort with other couples. We're truly sorry about the inconveniences you dealt with and will take your suggestions into consideration!
