The staff was great and friendly. Cleaning was done everyday except for sunday. They tended to your needs. The area around the hotel can be noisy at night due to the party bars and vehicles passing by. So if you want a good nights sleep....bring earplugs! The balcony doors are single pan so noise easily comes through.

Great deluxe rooms
I stayed in one of the deluxe rooms and it was perfect. Really cheap too! Its super close to the beach and on the main drag of lamai. So it's in walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again! Staff was wonderful and very nice and helpful.

Too noisey
We stayed in room 306 hotel was far too noisey music going on in bars until 6 in morning.got to stage had to wear ear plugs .asked to change room didnt want to no .we was booked in for 12 days but checked out after 6.although hotel cheap do yourself a favour and book different hotel.this is an honest review and when i get home i shall be getting refund for the last 6 days we did not stay

Nice Stay
We had the loveliest, helpful man check us in. The bungalow was spacious with our own balcony area. The room could have been cleaner as there were ants and a good few other beasties found, especially in the bathroom. We were even able to upgrade to aircon after 2 nights of fan only. The woman on reception also printed our ferry voucher for free. The staff really make this place! Right across from the beach (through another resort) and a little walk from the busier bars and restaurants.

Basic room right on the Lamai strip
Booked this as my first night in Lamai/Koh Samui, just needed a basic budget private room, and that exactly what it was. No frills, all you need, and right on the Lamai strip. NOT on the beach, but just a few minutes walk away. The location is solid. I will say I sprung for a beach resort room for just a few bucks more the following nights, but this was basic and very good if you're not concerned with being in a "cute" resort-y place.

Bargain but busy!
It's a great central location.brilliant value for money!can be a little loud at night with the girls outside poaching then men.its the area where the men go to meet Thai girls.it can come across seedy but you expect this in Thailand it's more in your face though than a quiet resort.

Good location but bit hard to find.Service very good and clean room. Perfect location, easy access to beach through Aloha Resort opposite. Lots of shops, restaurants,bars, 7- elevens very close just on the main street. The down side was the noise at night from a bar a few doors down the street with music/kareoki going on till 2am most nights. It didn't seem to have any sound proofing in the balcony door.

OK for a night or two.
This was a one night stay in Lamai before I left to head back to Bangkok, I wasn't looking for luxury just a comfortable bed in the Lamai area. The hotel had some teething issues with finding my booking and the wifi but with regards to the stay it was OK for one night.

Close to the beach, had everything a backpacker needed,room was very cleaned and the owners wife was so sweet:-) good location lots of places to ewt ,make sure to try the tasty coffee shop on the right with the green writing on its sign right outside the hostel

I booked this hotel for one night so that we had somewhere to stay on our late arrival at Koh Samui. At £16 per night I wasn't expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised with what we got on arrival. The main picture does not give the hotel justice. You actually stay off the main road in very pretty bungalows which have their own large private terraces. We had a very comfortable King bed, large fridge, air conditioning, tv and separate wet room. Complimentary water bottles were left for us and separate beach towels were provided. The whole place was very clean and well maintained. If you walk a couple of steps to the main road you'll find a 7eleven which was very handy for drinks, etc. The beach is accessed in a few minutes by crossing the road and walking through the opposite hotel's grounds. We ended up staying another night as it was so handy and cheap. Overall I was very impressed with this place and would recommend it for a good budget hotel.

隣のビアバーの音を気にしなければベストコスパ
部屋は清潔でスタッフの応対も良いですが 隣のビアバーが夜中までうるさいです ラマイ 中心から離れてるので騒音に油断していたのですが ここだけうるさい でも提携ホテルのプライベートビーチが利用できるので 夜中の騒音とラマイ 中心まで少し遠い10分くらい を 気にしなければとても良い宿です サムイ島発ツアーの相談にも親身になってくれます

Bien accueilli, personnel attentif, ménage tous les jours dans des bungalows en dur a quelques pas de la plage. Il faut juste traverser la rue et un hôtel voisin. Quartier sympa avec de nombreux restos bon marchés et boutiques, sans oublier le marché de nuit. Idéal pour les vacances au calme aussi.

Zimmer mit Ventilator und Kühlschrank
Im Zimmer kamen die Kakerlaken durch Löcher im Boden. Das Bett war durchgelegen. Die Türen hatten ebenfalls Löcher an den unteren Ecken. Der Ventilator war wenig hilfreich, im Zimmer stand die Hitze. Der Service war gut, daß Personal sehr hilfsbereit!

Great Hotel at Filthy Lamai Beach
We booked the "deluxe" room and really enjoy the stay. Very accessible price in a very nice residence. Close to the beach, you can walk trough the Aloha hotel. A little bit noisy during the night, as having "massage" ladies close to the place ( making a lot of noise ). I would absolutely recommned the hotel itself, but would never recommend the Lamai beach itself. The beach is filthy, I have never seen hundreds of tooth brushes on the beach including dead turtle and trash everywhere. If you do decide to come to Lamai beach, this is a great place o stay though.

Проживала в домиках. Ремонт, конечно, не самый свежий. Все очень-очень просто. Но самое необходимое есть. Номера держат в чистоте, персонал отзывчивый. Помогут с любыми вопросами. Уборка номеров ежедневная. До пляжа 5 минут. В том году оставалась в главном здании отеля. Цена побольше, зато ремонт более Свежий + бесплатно чай, кофе круглые сутки.

Große Zimmer, alles gut und durchdacht ausgestattet. Man bekommt viel für kleines Geld. Einziger Haken ist die enorme Lautstärke der umliegenden Bars in denen Damen auf ihre Kundschaft warten....

Wow. Great place! The service was extraordinary! We were not the easiest guests. First we came late (around 8pm a Sunday evening) and we came 3 persons instead of 2. The owner and his wife arranged an extra bed for us without a hassle. Second, we lost our key, again they fixed this without a hassle. Third, we accidentally broke the flush switch on the toilet, not even this was held against us. The owner and his wife helped us arrange day trips and our bus to Bangkok. The room had wifi, even to it was not stated on hotels.com. We got water everyday, towels and even sarongs to have on the beach. Good location, close to the action but still far away enough to not be disturbed by it. Very close to the beach, maybe 100 meters. Supercute room with a little terrace/balcony to hang out on. Very clean, amazing cleaning lady from Burma. The place felt very safe since there was a lot of Thai people living around us. Negative? Koh Samui is not worth visiting (go to Koh Tao), but this hotel alone made our days there not useless. Also, it's probably harder than you think to not have AC when it's 30 degrees outside.

Für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend
Wir waren nur 3 Tage in Koh Samui auf einer Thailand Rundreise. Das Hotel war ca. 3 minuten vom Strand entfert (Lamai Beach). Man konnte ein Hoteldurchgang von einem anderem Hotel benutzen war ziemlich angenehm war wegen der kürzeren Wegstrecke. Am Strand gab es keine Liegestühle hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war auch schön allerdings waren wir im Deluxe Zimmer deswegen kann ich nur von diesem Zimmer berichten. Es gab einen Fernseher und Balkon. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Stadtzentrum wenn man das so sagen kann was bedeutet das Märkte Massage Saloons Restaurants usw. In 5 Minuten entfernung waren. Leider war es in der Nacht etwas laut aber wir konnten immer gut schlafen. Das Hotel Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit leider konnten sie nicht soooo gut Englisch aber man konnte sich verständigen. Es gab Gratis Wlan was aber ein wenig Probleme mit Android hat den unsere Handys (Samsung) konnten sich durch einen IP Fehler nicht immer einloggen anscheinend gibt es diese Probleme mit Iphones nicht. Das Hotel blietet auch ein eigenens Hoteltaxi an das je nach dem ca. 50 Baht kostet wir haben es einmal genutzt und es war sehr angenehm da wir ein bisschen Misstrauisch gegenüber den Taxigesellschaften waren. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt für ein paar Tage Koh Samui sicher zu entpfehlen.
