"We absolutely loved our stay at this property and would absolutely stay here again / recommend the property to friends. The property exceeded our expectations from the pictures of the interior which are quite old. The downstairs is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was large and well stocked with lots of plates, glasses, cutlery, cups etc. There are lots of games available to play. We took a plug in cool box with us as other reviews had mentioned that the fridge is a bit small and this worked well. There is lots of freezer space though. We also took an electric fan for the top floor bedroom which was very warm but fine with the fan. The outside area was lovely and the covered pool really brilliant. We loved exploring the surrounding area and there was a lot to do within a half hour radius. The beautiful town of Salers and the walk to the top of Puy Mary, the lovely beaches at Le lac des Orgues, waterfall walks, a maize maze, farm shops to visit and the wonderful Jardin Deliarant which runs workshops for kids in the holidays.Alexis the host was really friendly and came back to any questions we had promptly. We would love to return to the property one day as it felt like home from home. The only thing we would change is maybe upgrade the metal framed bunk bed in he 3rd bedroom as this was quite uncomfortable for a longer stay,"

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."

"We had the most wonderful time at this stunning property. Check-in and check-out were extremely smooth. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and is a unique property, in an extremely tranquil location. The surrounding countryside, villages, larger towns and (of course) the mountains were beautiful - and (in May at least) were all peaceful and quiet. Thoroughly recommended!"

"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! "
