Nice hotel, pleasant area and good sized roomPosted Aug 29, 2015
The opportunity to be so much more. The night porter checked ius but no mention of what time check out was, where the breakfast room was and on leaving the receptionist didn't bother to ask if we had enjoyed our stay or if all well ok. Good room facilities but the little things missing like a filthy valance sheet, lukewarm shower, terrible dip in the bed, freezing room, to close or open the curtains you have to stand on the sofa bed. Such a shame

A GemPosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: The Staff. The breakfast. The room. The attitude.
Cons: Thought about this for some minutes...... Sorry I can't think of anything!
Location: Bang in the middle of beautiful countryside.
My review scores are unfortunate. "Pleasing" isn't really how I would describe the hotel, but I leave the next highest comment, " Excellent ", for the time when I find the perfect hotel. Mytton Fold is so so close to perfect. The quality of the staff that I encountered were EXCELLENT. They genuinely believe that their purpose is to provide true service, which they appear to do with little effort.

Very comfortablePosted Feb 16, 2015
Superb bed in a large room. Excellent friendly staff. Entrance area with free newspapers, fruit and biscuits, and you've not even made it to your room yet. Better than expected.

Ribbed valley tranquilityPosted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: Just about everything
Location: A characterful and interesting part of the country with much to do and like.
A lovely hotel with character, space and peace. Weddings frequent but absolutely separate from our space. Helpful friendly staff, good food, and a great setting for exploring the Ribble valley and this splendid part of Lancashire, and the witches of Pendle are only a broom's throw away!

Close to business appointmentPosted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Quiet location - convenient for business appointment
Cons: Soundproofing the rooms
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and courteous. Upon arriving which was late in the evening they quickly provided me with something to eat even though the kitchen had long closed. The room was good, however the walls are very thin and the guys TV next door was very audible while i was trying to do some work and I don't think he had the volume set high.

Pros: The main thing has to be the free golf, its a good course. But be prepared to get out of breath , some seriously steep holes, worth it for the view.
Cons: Some of the main hotel flooring
Location: Very convenient for me when working Blackburn, Burnley, Preston. I would imagine for a weekend break it would be good to explore the Ribble Valley.
I stayed here last year and the rooms I stayed in have been nicely updated. Lovely bathrooms with good showers, food improved too now very good. Staff very helpfull and attentive.

Pleasant hotel and great staffPosted Jun 8, 2014
The hotel is a good hotel and I would recommend it. Rooms spotless and excellent staff. If I was to find a fault it was the lighting in the room a little dark when you are trying to get ready.

NIce hotel in the lovely Ribble Valley.Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Peaceful even with a wedding on-site
Cons: Stayed a few times - rooms need a little up-grading but still great vfm.
Location: So much nearby on the edge of the Ribble Valley - with Northcote Manor within walking distance.
Nice hotel, not exceptional, staff were great and rooms good vfm - bonus of attractive location in the Ribble Valley near to great places and a good golf course on site.
