Had a very nice stay at the golden sands Angie was very welcoming always on hand if you needed anything would stay there again 😊
Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.
I cannot fault any of the staff, always pleasant and helpful. The hotel is run down and the furniture etc is dated and worn. However this adds to the charm a little. Cleanliness is the most important issue for me, and I was happy with that. The hotel is currently being updated, so I look forward ...
Stayed overnight as visiting a relative that was in hospital close by . The room was clean and the bed was very comfy the outside areas could do with a bit of a tidy up and the breakfast was lovely but lukewarm . The staff were very friendly and should I ever need to be close to this hospital again ...
Had a good stay, location, room and facilities all okay and really enjoyed breakfast. Hotel clean and modern. Pool a little disappointing - lAck of light and repairs to front of pool. ok though. Boys loved table football in bar.
We were delighted to find the family room has a seperate room for the children adjoined to the main room which meant we as parents didn't need to go to bed with the children. St Anne's beach is beautiful wish we spent more time here than in actual Blackpool town. Easy to get to Blackpool we caught ...
Ok, firstly, the staff here are amazing and so friendly, they are a real credit to the company and the location is also ideal and they allow dogs to stay for £5/day/visit. But, the hotel does need some serious TLC and the beds in particular are really uncomfortable, to the point where we were in ...
Really enjoyed our stay. Only downside was waiting an hour for our breakfast. Not enough staff on - only 3 for about 40 people as their had been a wedding on the day before. They also need to train their staff to look behind and under things in the bathroom as under the freestanding bath was filthy ...
From Sue the hostess to the serving staff, they were all super friendly. The hotel itself is spotless, and the rooms very comfortable. We had the family room, that had an adjoining bunk bed room for our two sons, it was well set up, had books, toys and was decorated beautifully. I will would highly ...
Hotel was fine but a little tired, car park is virtually impossible when they have a lot of guests. Breakfast is a bit claustrophobic as it is below ground. Overall you get what you pay for. $100 a night with breakfast - very good value.
