Nice hotel just off M6Posted Sep 16, 2015
We were upgraded on check-in which was much appreciated. The suite was very nice and comfortable . We ate in the restaurant and the food was to a high standard enhanced by attention from a delightful young waitress who is not a full time employee but who had responsibility for the restaurant that evening. Overall very pleased with the stay. Thank you to all at Preston Marriott.

Very disappointedPosted Aug 21, 2015
Booked a three day stay at the hotel but checked out the next day due to the fact the pool was closed this was the only reason we booked this hotel there was no mention of this on the website so when we arrived we very disappointed and effectively ruined our break

Nice hotel close to Blackpool and lake districtPosted Aug 19, 2015
I stayed there with my wife a 3 years, 6 years and 9 months old. The room we stayed in was twin delux, which was very roomy. I think it was about 350 square feet. the hotel is in a very secluded vicinity, which is fantastic. The building, decor and furnishing has a reagal feel. The breakfast was outstanding. the room bathroom was very clean and comfortable but could do with some modernisation. We had a very comfortable and fantastic time there.

A lovely hotel for a four night stay.Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: The location, the accommodation and staff.
Location: The area has beautiful scenery, interesting small towns, lovely walks and numerous good restaurants serving locally sourced produce.
The Preston Marriott is located in well maintained, extensive grounds. The is ample car parking. The hotel is very efficiently run with friendly and very helpful staff. Our room was quiet, very comfortable, clean and very well furnished. The breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and attractively presented. The staff were attentive and efficient. Similarly, the bar and lounge area was attractive with a varied menu. The staff were also attentive, friendly and very helpful. We look forward very much to our next stay. Thanks to all.

What a smashing place! Our first hotel stay with a baby and the hotel could not be any more accommodating! Fabulous health and spa facilities too! Totally deserved of their 4 stars. Looking forwards to seeing you again real soon

Great hotel.Posted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
Wonderful hotel. Best in Preston. Awesome gym and pool, delightful staff, great rooms. The rooms are very small for Americans.... But it's Europe so that can be expected. You have to drive to get anywhere though as its way out of town.

Good comfortable hotel.Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Good location for Central Lancashire and the Fylde. Exits on to a very busy main road, the A6 and can be difficult to get out, esp turning north.
Good hotel, have stayed before. Everything OK but the restaurant and bar menus were a bit brief, not much choice, and the breakfast cooked selection was poor. The wi-fi was expensive (having just stayed in two good hotels where it was free) at £8 per day or £20 per 3 days. I arrived on the Saturday evening at about 5pm and signed in. I chose the three day option as I was staying until the Monday. As soon as I had checked out at 10am Monday the connection was chopped! Effectively I paid £20 for 41 hours use...not good. Would I recommend the hotel? Yes, but with reservations (see above).
