Faces across the Promenade

I had a formal dinner elsewhere in Town, and was looking for somewhere economical that didn't penalise single travellers. I found it!
The Baron is a conversion of an Edwardian 'Town House' I believe. The conversion is neatly done but not screamingly up to date, and nicer for it!
As with so many 'houses' of this period, rooms at the rear are off half landings, so it is truly a case of 'upstairs / downstairs' when using the lift. Beats using the stairs (for me) but only just - it's quite pedestrian!!
My room was adequate, the bed comfortable, the en suite bathroom nicely fitted and, with the Queen size bed, perfect for a single traveller.
Breakfast is served in their 'twin' Hotel next door - lunch...? may not be room for that after their full breakfast! Access between the two properties is being improved as I write!
