very nice hotel was given a warm welcome. would recomend to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet warm family enviroment.

Location: This hotel is nearer the Pleasure Beach than the Tower end. Within easy reach of the Promenade and all the bus and tram stops.
The owners, Brenda and Dave are very friendly and the hotel was lovely and warm.

Terrible

The location is fine, the room was below average. The owner seems like can't really be bothered to have guests there. He let me and my two boys in to the room whilst my husband was parking the car. We left our belongings then headed out for a walk. When we returned our bedroom door would not open - the lock was faulty. I found the owner and alerted him to the problem. His solution - HE TOLD ME TO GET A LOCKSMITH!!!!!!! We tried to point out to him that it was his responsibility, but he was exceedingly rude. We were not about to have a row with him in front of our children who are four and two and we were not prepared to barge the door and be charged with criminal damage as my husband is a barrister! So, we called and PAID for a locksmith. The locksmith told us that the locks were extremely cheap and that it would not have been the first time that this lock had broken. We slept in the room then left at 8am the following morning. We couldn't have stomached breakfast there. I really would not recommend staying here at all.
