Well maintained and comfortable place to stay.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Warm friendly hosts that are very knowledgeable of the area.
Location: Our stay was not long enough to get around to very much in Lancaster, but the Turkey Hill ice cream plant is just down the road from the Blue Rock B&B
We traveled to Lancaster to attend a wedding at 5PM on a Friday. We traveled for two hours and gambled that our B&B host would understand if we arrived 30MIN before the 4PM check-in; they could not have been more understanding. My wife and I were were able to shower, get into our formal digs and on our way with time to spare. We had a wonderful time both at the wedding and our overnight stay. Could not have worked out better. Highly recommend the Blue Rock B&B.

Pros: The Family Suite is great if you have kids with you. Gives you a little space and privacy for less money than 2 hotel rooms.
Location: You will not usually see Amish people and buggies in this town, but it is close to that area and to Celtic Fling, which is what we were there for.
The hosts were very accommodating. They made an early breakfast just for us, because we had to go.

Home Away From HomePosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels
This bed and breakfast was amazing. The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable. The room we stayed in was very large and the bed was quite comfortable. We really enjoyed the location to everything. It was close enough to Hershey, the Ren Faire, and shopping while still being off the beaten path. My absolute favorite part was the breakfast, though. Everything was homemade and delicious. It was the best meal I'd ever had while at a bed and breakfast. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel deal in the Millersville area. I can't wait to go back!

A little gem of a B&BPosted Oct 20, 2013 on Hotels
This little Bed and Breakfast is a colonial farmhouse (built in 1847) located slightly off the beaten track, in a very nice and quite neighborhood but still only within a short car ride to any of the major attractions in the area. The hosts are extremely hospitable and always ready to help or offer advice. Breakfast is very traditional to the area and cooked using locally grown (or own) products. We have even asked for a recipe on the Omelet Casserole. My family (2 adults and 1 10 year old child) stayed in the Dutchman suite that offered 2 private rooms, one with queen size bad and the other with 1 double and 1 twin, making it ideal for a family with kids. Our rooms and the entire B&B was superbly clean - that is saying a lot, since we travel quite extensively and see lots of hotels. In the cleanliness department the Blue Rock can rival some of the top 5 stars!. Way to go Stephanie and Ed! We come to the area every year around the Columbus day. and now that we have DISCOVERED this B&B, we will are certain to visit it again next year.

Blue Rock B&BPosted Oct 27, 2010 on Hotels
Location: Millersville and Lancaster are in the area, with lots to see and do.
This is our second stay at the Blue Rock, and we are very pleased with just about everything about it. We stay during Homecoming weekend at Millersville, and it is close and convenient to all activities. The hosts are wonderfully friendly, and the breakfast is good. The price was a bit high this year, which is why we only stayed one night instead of two, but we definitely would go again.

Close and comfortable for a returning MU gradPosted Oct 30, 2009 on Hotels
We stayed at this B&B because Millersville's Homecoming was that weekend, and having our "home away from home" so close was wonderful. The room, practically our own apartment, was comfortable and clean, with more amenities than we expected. Our hosts were terrific and cooked us some filling breakfasts while there. I would definitely recommend it to others and we're planning to go back the next time we visit Millersville/Lancaster.
