Horrible Room Stinking Place. Don't Go TherePosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: There is nothing to like about this hotel
Cons: Provide the exact photos what kind of room you will be given. The room is stinking with weird smell. The bed sheets are smelling bad. Bathroom is too
Do not be fooled by the pictures nice building and fancy photos as shown in the website as you might be asked to check in to the room which is across the street very stinking and horrible room. This is entirely different from what is shown on the website. The room is stinking with weird smell. The bed sheets are smelling bad. Bathroom is too small. there is a dust all over the objects in the room. No iron box in the room. Kitchen stove is out of order. The noise of the AC is unbearable. I really felt very bad for taking my family for vacation into such a horrible place to stay.

If booking a room be sure to stay in the main hotel and not across the street. Old and dirty

Fantastic Place To Stay!Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Said It all above!
Cons: The restaurant fare.
Location: Farmer's Market on the common every Saturday Morning. The views of the Mtn's
Most of the amenities were wonderful, realized Restaurant was operated by a different owner, for a fancy Hotel food could have been more up-scale at the Whiskey Barrel. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed in Room 218 and was just right for my 91 yr old Mother & I. The view out the window was amazing! Thanks for making such a wonderful Memory for my Mom & I!

would not stay there everPosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Nothing. breakfast was very crowded, man did not fill empty food containers, He was like slower than a turtle.
Cons: New staff, let ppl know there are ppl living on the first floo. Total rehab of the older motel.
Location: nothing everything was about 40-50 minutes away.
Staff was rude, they put us across the street in the older part because we booked on line, People lived on the 1st floor, man had cat, stairs were not very good. old and dirty. and several other rooms were occupied with ppl who lived there, They should have told us there were ppl living under us. as permenent tentants, I would have left. Roomed smelled like someone was smoking in it, There were signs NO SMOKING

Room did not match pictures, and was across the street from the pictured hotel. Room was messy, had an odour of stale smoke and animals. Dining area was 21 and up so no children. Pool was dirty and hot tub looked disgusting. I regret staying here and felt deceived by the pictures and description.

A Family OutingPosted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
The for our travel was to visit Santa's Village with our daughter and granddaughters. We were pleased with the accommodations, as the rooms and lobby were clean and pleasant. The setting is very quiet and quite relaxing. The staff was very polite and helpful. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool time. The breakfast buffet was quite reasonable with variety for all of the family. The on-site restaurant is more of a bar /tavern. It is privately owned and not priced for family. Approx two miles away is pizza and shopping. Most notable is that the inn occupies two buildings, separated by Route 2. If important, when making reservations, reserve rooms in the same building. I became aware of this while reading a review so I called to verify my room assignments - we were booked in both buildings. I requested a change for us to be in the same building and it was made, without problem. We would definitely return to this inn.

The hotel is a bit dated. Nice amenities, fitness, pool, outside playground. Very family friendly. Great staff. Room was clean but had a slight strange oder. Water pressure was not great. Close to Santa's Village. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff. Very accommodating.
